So apparently you can still get sick on gear...

ad

Last cycle I never had as much as a sniffle but this cycle my luck has run out. I have been steadily heading down hill into a really bad chest cold for several days. I have made it to the gym every day inspite of it (used hand sanitizer) But today is legs and I am sick as a dog. I think I will have to throw up the white flag today... This sucks..

I've noticed over the years that I rarely get sick while on but if I do it's always a long rough one.

It cost me 7lbs. I am still not 100% probably not even 80% but I am getting better. Started back at the gym on Saturday, it was too soon. Felt weak as a kitten. Sunday was a little better, I can only hope tonight better yet.

Damn brother I know the feeling. You'll blast through this crap. You'll wake up in the next few days and feel like a champ.

This the season for sickness. Sucks but sometimes it's best to wave the white flag and let your body recover. Hope you feel better soon. Vitamin c, zinc, airborne, emergenc.. Lol. Overdose it out of your system.

Damn near half bottle of NyQuil to make it thru the night. Along with mucenex. My liver is taking a beating lol.

Then to top it off my 6 year old MacBook Pro is not responding. This ain't good. All my proposals and job quotes are in there....looks like an hour and a half trip to an apple store awaits. But first I gotta see how much money I can lose on twitter this morning.:)

There's your problem, you use apple ;) Did you see how samsung paid apple their fines in nickels. LOL
google it.

Hahaha, yea I did see that. In spite of all the lawsuits Apple is still using samsung parts. I had a dell laptop pre-08 before I went with the MacBook Pro. Overall it has been a great machine, it sounds like they can fix it this time. The writing is on the wall tho.

For your guiafenisin needs, pick up some primatene tablets. The ephedrine gives you a little pick up and opens shit up a bit.

Going to dig through the cabinet now, I think I have some mucinex. Thanks Tread.

Raise me anytime!! I want to use tumeric so bad and then I read where is is not recommended for people with gastric problems. I here nothing but great things about it! Now I am looking into "guafinisin." I have never seen one thing that you recommend fall to the ground and not work! If it helps my deviated septum than oh happy day! Because that has been a plague for years, I have got the same exact injuries for my nose and maxilla bone.

Darktide's picture

I am going to try this brother because I really would love the benefits!

Darktide's picture

I will I have been wanting to try it in the worse way I was deployed off and on so much this last year I didn't want to risk the gastric issues but now I have a break. So I will update you I really appreciate the counsel

Speaking of deviated septum, My nose got pretty badly broken in a squabble with my younger brother when I was about twenty. He had amazing accuracy throwing a camera at my face from about ten foot away, lol. Even worse I made my Dad snap it back in to place (see even more painful)lol.

Anyway, since then I breathe 90% through the right side. I was at the vet yesterday for my pups first real check up and he said he went to Thailand and had it corrected for thousands less than it would have cost here.

These allergies, ear wax and breathing problems that come with the deviated septum have gotten old...

I actually have been more immune since being on but I also take HGH for that reason. Not muscle building doses but for the immune system. I also notice a big difference when I take a 1000mgs of vitamin c a day and vitamin D3 which is both a hormone and a vitamin. Must be working really well for people because the FDA is talking about banning it.

Pale's picture

I will have to look into them Pank. The hgh alone wasn't enough to protect me this time.

Yeah I am a believer no matter what a bug can still get in even if you do everything right. Just have to play around with what works best.

Gymjunkie01's picture

yeah actually when your on gear it can lower your immune system making you more acceptable to viruses and bugs. sucks bro have you ever tried B-12 injections ? that seems to help me a lot. my wife whome is a nurse practitioner told me that the B-12 shots will boost my immune system and it has. luckily I haven't been sick in 2 years..{knock on wood}

My bro just picked up some B-12 a couple weeks ago, he didn't catch this bug and I did.
