How much tumeric per day Tread? I have been taking one 400mg capsule per day (300/100) for about a month now. I feel pretty good, my BP is definitely down, but I still have a bit of sore tendons in my left elbow area. I assume it does keep working its magic over time.

Got it. And thank you for sharing your knowledge. We are not worthy!

Just took my second tumeric of the day, I will give it a few weeks and let you know what I find. Thanks again.

Great to hear that yoga helped. I had a serious cyatic verve flare up about 6 months ago. It was the worst pain I have been in for a long time.
Anyway, lack of mobility in the leg and pain from my neck to Achilles, Yoga fixed it. It took about 3 months, and I can do heavy squats, dead's, and leg presses again.
Thanks to yoga and a strict stretching routine, my tendon issues as a whole have subsided.

my gym offers it for free but, i feel discouraged since there is only women is the classes..

I started doing it when I got wounded. Caught a piece of shrapnel in my back/scapula region. It limited my range of motion even after rehab. So my wife who has been doing yoga for years said to me come try this I know it will increase your range of motion and lessen the pain.

Since she is so smart and makes me so often feel dumb I have learned to trust her advice on issues she is well versed in. Sure enough it did what rehab didn't accomplish. Now I do it for over all stretching and strengthening, it is awesome!

Was just asking round myself about this as my tendon in the front of my delt kills when I do incline bench.
I was told to take a multi mineral that contains things like zinc, magnesium etc etc. gonna start incorporating them in my vitamin stacks. Also - lots if stretching, obviously.

Are you small boned? Usually tendon and ligament issues tend to go with that where the muscles can lift more weights than they can support.

Regardless drinking a lot of filtered water lubricates joints and tendons. Lots of Vitamin C, Condroiton and Glucosamine Sulfate help heal connective tissue.

Start with light weight to get blod to the area, and increase. This reduces the risk of further injury.

Tumeric is worth of Shit!..Just Overated, tried it before my Deca cycle for 4 months and Never did Shit!....Just being straight forward with my comments, Nothing Else!

Darktide's picture

I have never tried Tumeric because of stomach issues but many report good results. Nothing wrong giving your experience but it doesn't mean it is shit for everyone either.

Darktide's picture

I heard Tumeric is exceptional for this. Unless you have gastric issues then stay away form it or it will exasperate it. Also MSM is very good.

Deca= Bottom Line!
Shit Works!, Take it from a 46 y/o with joints shut to shits!
Just cover yourself with Caber or Bromo to have handy for the dreaded "Deca Dick", a Must indeed!

What do you consider a tendon strengthening exercise?

I think you should first use the traditional treatments, i know it's hard but you have to take some time off, put some ice no more than 10 min at a time.
Your body tells you someting, if you don't listen you will end up permanently injured
I know by experience!

That's going to help me a lot as well.. +1

I have to say I was quite lazy to do any research as to why my tendons hurt so bad after a good day at the gym.

You are terribly helpful. An encyclopedia at the least haha. I will try some of the methods you mentioned, as you seem to know best.
