So I've been having quite a few discussions (as well as cries for help) behind the scenes and for the most part it all revolves around the same subject:
THE MORE IS BETTER GENERATION
I know how difficult it is to step up to the buffet and only have the chicken but this is where maturity steps in. Just because you have access and availability at your fingertips doesn't mean you should be a glutton! If I have said it once I have said it 100 times: YOU CAN MAKE FANTASTIC GAINS ON TEST ONLY CYCLES FOR YEARS TO COME!
The threads are full of (not so slick) members mining for info on compounds they have no business even pronouncing right now and trying to guise it as "research". Do we look like idiots, most (some?) of us recognize it for what it is - trying to get some backdoor validation for a very bad idea.
I posted this about a month ago:
1st cycle: Test ONLY!
THIS is to gage how YOUR body responds to adding testosterone to YOUR system and how YOU tolerate symptoms such as retention, elevated BP and gyno. IMO have AI on hand but wait to see if symptoms arise. This is a learning curve for understanding YOUR body. Everyone responds differently so IF you do not tolerate well and run an AI because it’s suggested you may be masking symptoms and are losing out on some vital personal info that may come back and bite you in the ass. I, personally, tolerate test well but still utilize AI’s to limit the minimal symptoms that I will incur.**A prop taper would be acceptable for by the time you finish cycle you will have a basic understanding on how you tolerate test (YES, prop is STILL test so its NOT a second compound) and you have a little pinning experience behind you to venture to new pin site territory.
2nd cycle: Test with a KICKER!
KICKER: A quick action compound to jumpstart your cycle while waiting for a longer ester compound to to kick in. Generally taken for 4-5 wks.Now that you’ve learned your tolerance for Test you may want to branch out and get the feel for other compounds(although not completely necessary for one can make quality gains from Test only cycles for years to come) This usually comes in the form of an oral such as dbol, tbol or anadrol. It is suggested that you research these compounds so you have an understanding of possible sides and symptoms. With anadrol being such a toxic compound it really isn’t suggested that you start off kicking with it. Test Prop is an EXCELLENT choice to kick with but would probably be better suited for once you gain some more experience in pinning technique, site rotation and have trained your sites a bit more. Also be aware that PIP is a very common side of Prop that some may have a difficult time tolerating.
At this time you have already made note of what (if any) sides you have experienced with Test. So by using a kicker it would be easy to ascertain that any new sides developed in the first 4wks would be contributed by the use of your kicker (remember, you have researched so these symptoms will be easily recognized) and you have now increased your personal knowledge base.
3rd cycle: The STACK!
Now THIS is where “everyone” seems to want to start. If you slow your roll and follow the suggestion of the first two cycles some of you may be eternally grateful that you did because what happens when you just start bombarding your system with compounds and your body starts freaking out and your not quite sure which compound is causing what? You're FUCT! That’s what happens!Now you tolerate test and the kick (or you haven’t but you learned how to manage the fallout) So now it’s time to STACK. The basic faves seem to be TEST w/ Deca or EQ (depending upon personal goals) Once again, research is vital! KNOW what these compounds do and learn about possible sides and how to manage them ESPECIALLY DECA! Deca is a 19nor and if are not even sure what that means then you better dig in to that fkn research cuz things can go really fkn wrong!
This is also an ideal time to incorporate the Prop kick. At this point you should have gained some comfortability with pinning so start making your bones with site rotation.
4th cycle: SHORT CYCLE!
I see a lot of guys starting off here, too. Usually it’s the guys who say shit like “I don’t want to get too huge…” Yeah, don’t worry you won’t! LOL! MOST guys will abandon this cycle as a first cycle because they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. The PIP, site rotations and overall commitment a short cycle takes is simply not within their realm just yet. And that does not make them stupid or weak, maybe just a little arrogant and/or nieve.By now (theoretically) you have your basic fundamentals of compounds and pinning down. You have a few cycles under you and looking pretty dam BUFF! You’re thinking I’d like to lean it out or get some more definition (some of you will throw around words like “getting cut” or “shredded”) whatever… THIS is where you may start banging out the shorter esters and shorter cycles.
Now here are some basics:
1.) ED is optimal but most of you should probably run EOD just to cut your teeth.
2.) Short cycles are generally run no longer then 8 possibly 10 wks. (for novices) Any longer it just makes more sense to run long esters.
3.) Keep in mind that more compounds will inevitably lead to more pinning, so keep it simple at first.
4.) For some reason I feel it needs to be said but Prop does need to be incorporated in these cycles. TEST IS THE BASE OF EVERY CYCLE… PERIOD!At this point you have a sound base of knowledge and experience. You have paid your dues. You have paid attention to your body, you have personal understanding of compounds and cycles (and hopefully AI’s, SERMS and PCT) and you have fine tuned your pinning technique.
NONE of this will mean shit if your diet and training aren’t ON POINT!
…and NO you are not ready for TREN yet (unless you’re a dumbass like brambo) LOL!
Now by following THIS very simple template this easily brings you 2-3 yrs (if not longer) into your cycle history (if ran properly). Now the years are going to pass anyway and all you fuckers who want to run your superstacks RIGHT NOW are going to be in that fucked up position 5 yrs from now where you'll be seeing (and very unsatisfied with) your under 10's gains because you plateaud too early ( as well as probably juiced yourself into early trt) and get thrown into that juice junkie cyle of "more". Thats right, a lot of you are blowing your load RIGHT NOW because it feels good. You are all (speculatively) grown ass men, so once again I ask you to please act like it!

Anoni made many gains on test only cycles.... shit i cant even remember how many cycles i have done....ran just about every compound and the crazy thing is ... i still gain... right now i am not the biggest that i have been.... im coming back from a bad injury which required surgery...muscle memory is a beautiful thing.... my weight has been up and down thru the years... right now i am 25 lbs from my biggest point back in 2005 which was 6'1 263.... now i been juicing for say about 17 years on and off of course... i was 146 pounds as a senior in school with high metabolism... but i was a ripped skinny lil shit lol,,,um back to the story out of all these years i only intro tren in recent 3 yrs
your exactly rite about making gains on test only cycle. I was seriously considering on doin a test prop only cycle for the EBC just to show the more is better crowed in fact more does not mean better.. +1
I've often made the statement that I hit the ground running and gunning. At nearly 50, Test was little more than a teaser for me----but there's a big difference between 50 years old and 25. A lot of great bodies were built in the 70's on almost exclusively Testosterone----many of them IFBB pros.
If you're new, young,....or not aspring to freakiness, you really don't need much more than Test for quite a while.
Seeing so many new/young guys run mega-stacks makes me wonder how far away they are from Synthol...lol

True....in fact I'm already there via natural aging, which is the main reason why I ended up here.
