rookie question...can other steroids effect testosterone blood results?

when you go for a blood test to check testosterone levels on a cycle they measure the male hormone yes? do any other or all steroids give a false reading off the male hormone? lets say i want to see if my testosterone is legit and not something else

Every hormone other than testosterone will shut down your test levals period
so taking anything without testosterone along side will leave your testosterone levels rock bottom on a blood test?
Yes, why? Do you want your t levels to look low? Are you trying to get on trt or something?
When testosterone levels are checked, they reveal testosterone. If you are taking another compound besides Test, it's not going to show up as Test in blood work. Unless of course there is a compound that breaks down into testosterone - but I would have to scratch my head on that one. I heard a rumor a long time ago that dbol increases Test - never heard that about anything else and it doesn't increase my T level, maybe urban legend. But, there are few chemistry gurus on the board - I hope they respond - this is an interesting question.
Who ever told you dbol raises test levels is a fucking moron. It completely suppresses your testosterone which is why you always need a test base when running it. Same with any other steriod
I dont think he meant that it would raise your natural test levels. He meant that it breaks down in to testosterone through a conversion process. Which is which is also not true.....just breaks down to estrogen and dht.

What he said is the gospel truth. If you take a steroid, other than testosterone, your body will react by lowering your own testosterone production. How fast and how low it goes depends on the individual, the steroid, the dose and the duration. That is why testosterone is always run underneath any other compound.
great...just want to know when testing testosterone levels to check if testosterone im using from which ever lab is legit and its not something else that can cause my test levels to increase
