Excessive cramping

ad

I've never been one to cramp but the last few weeks I'm constantly cramping and it's effecting my workout. I'm eating 2 bananas a day drinking. Around 2 gallons of water and taking in taurine as well. I've even tried adding in extra salt to see if that would help but hasn't at all. Any idea what could be causing this?

Get yourself good electrolyte mix..they come in small capsules or in good quality pre or postworkout mixes.

That would be first port of call....

I'll have to try the Morton Lo-Salt. Hadn't ever thought of that. Tried magnesium a few times but no more of that stuff. Magnesium sends me straight to the can

I should be be getting enough from the bananas, nope I don't even cramp on clen which is so weird. The hot tub has seemed to help some but not much

Cramps are commonly associated with the vigorous use of muscles and muscle fatigue. Such cramps may come during the activity or later, sometimes many hours later in other words over working your self. Likewise, muscle fatigue from sitting or lying for an extended period in an awkward position or any repetitive use can cause cramps.

also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly increase the excitability of both the nerve endings and the muscles they stimulate. This may be a predisposing factor for the spontaneous cramps

Honestly there's a lot of reasons you could be having cramps to many to name might wanna go see your doctor and have him run some tests if it's getting to you that bad
