I know this forum topic is going to get some viewing hits, and after reading it, and after you've clean your screens after spitting your coffee/protein shake all over it, I can already see the comments arriving.

Here's the incident from the gym this morning: (And I swear this is 100% GENUINE).
In the gym this morning, one of the guys who had just finished lifting was constantly rubbing his glute. We know he's just started his first cycle because he's respectfully asked us all for advice on what to take, how to take it and when. He's asked about his dietary needs, dct, pct, what size pins to use, EVERYTHING you'd want a newbie to be asking about their first cycle. (Putting the research in and asking for advice whenever he isn't sure about something). The guy is about 35 years old and on his 6th week into his cycle by the way.

My Mate asked him if he was alright and why he was rubbing his glute all the time and he replied that his wife had injected him Tuesday morning and it felt like she was trying to harpoon Mobi Dick when she put the needle in. My Mate asked him if he had any lumps under the skin or if the area was inflamed or heated to which he replied, "No, it just hurts like f-k from where she put the pin in". As I was about to start another set of tricep pressdowns, I made the comment, "Did she snap the needle off inside you?" to which again he replied, "No. I always check the needle afterwards because you guys warned me about it".

Then came the KILLER question:
"How do you guys cope with pinning up all the time? Some of you guys pin up everyday. When the wife injects me, it's like a nail going in at times".

As quick as a flash, my Mate replied, "I use Anal Lube"

SAY WHAT!!!! I dropped the weight stack and nearly busted my chin open from the bar coming up so quick.

"You do WHAT now?" I asked my Mate. With a look, begging him to enlighten me.

"Yeah. The lubes that desensitizes the area before you stick your d*** in. Rub some into the area you're going to pin up in, wait 10 minutes, clean the area with an alcohol swab and pin up. You won't feel a thing", he said.

"Mary, Mother of...." I replied, shaking my head in disbelief as I turned and walked away.

"What? Loads of guys use it when they pin up. It works. Honest", my mate said as I continued to walk away shaking my head.

There isn't alot in this world that can stop me in between sets when working out. But THIS particular conversation, pretty much goes towards the top of that small list.

My mate was being 100% sincere in his remarks and admits that he hates the initial pin point going into the skin whenever he pins up. He's been pinning up for years and has many cycles under his belt, but the point of the pin breaking the skin still makes him jump and/or tense up and he simply doesn't want the needle to snap off into the muscle. (Which does sort of make sense, I suppose).

BUT ANAL LUBE????

I told the new guy that I personally get past the P.P.P (Pin Point Poke) whenever I pin myself up, by placing the needle point on the skin, making sure the needle is straight, and SLOWLY push it in to the top. "By slowly, I mean it can take me 5-10 seconds at times before it's all the way in. That way, I know what I'm doing. I'm concentrating on staying relaxed. I know that if I push too hard I could tear the muscle fibers I'm trying to go into which can give you P.I.P afterwards and as I'm expecting pain to hit, being as relaxed as possible makes sure that he stabbing sensation doesn't come".

"And tell your Mrs, if she stabs it into you so hard and when she removes the pin, the juice COULD squirt back out because your muscle is so taught, wasting that dose and you'll have to do it all over again".

And that was my entertaining morning at the gym today.

Personal Note:
I personally do NOT recommend ANYONE use any kind of Anal Lube to assist you with the pain of pinning up. EVER. Whether it being a desensitizing lube or not.
