How many times a week would you hit your lateral delts?

We bomb the hell out of a front and rear delts with all of the chest back and shoulder routines we do on a weekly basis but what about the lateral head? How often do you guys try to work out your lateral delts a week? .. The side delts seem to heal right up for me within 2 days even when I hit them extremely hard and if it's not sore any more why not train it?

Taking chest out of the mix.

I target delts directly once a week but do three specific lateral exercises.

I would like to do more but my body says no...no.....no

Mine heal within a day or two.. I've always figured if they're not sore then why not work them again.. But that would mean I'd be working them 3-4 times a week which seems like over kill.

2 times per week

You know you are not overtraining if you increase the weight by 2% or 1 rep per training session. If you are an advanced lifter, then 1%.

Advanced lifter can bench 2.2 times body weight for 1 RM.

I specifically target the front,lateral and rear delts 3X/wk. My delts are acually getting blasted 6 days/week with my chest and back workouts. The only time they get a break is on leg day. Of course I would never work them this much off cycle but they are turning into softballs and I just can't seem to tire them out this cycle.
