+ 1 Your thoughts on a possible infection
Just wanted to see what some of you think about my little predicament..
I've really just ignored this and chalked it off as bad pinning on my part except now we're past a week and nothings changing..
I injected my left quad with some t600.. it's pretty high dosed and no I did not cut it with anything.. it's very smooth BUT if I don't pin it PERFECTLY it hurts like a moooooooother fucker for half a week.. Well my latest pin I prlly didn't go deep enough.. I kept feeling pain when I tried to push past 3/4s in and said fuckit and just injected it any ways without pushing the needle all the way in.. Well it's been over a week and this thing is getting more and more painful.. might be a little better today but it's still swollen.. I'd say it was infected but I have no signs of fever etc... Also the pain is at my knee mostly and not where I injected.. and any redness is in the inside of my quad (basically the opposite side of the quad from the pin site).. It's not squishy like an infection would be either..
Btw I'm very clean especially when injecting and I've never had an infection.. I know having a "fuckit" moment was pretty stupid of me.. it was just one of those days ahh

I've had a similar experience, except mine went away before a full week. I used a hot pack a couple times a day to help the oil spread. Its probably just the high dose of the compound, but its hard to confirm that.
it went away completely after 2 weeks.. I've never had something like that take so long lmao
Well I can talk about this topic because it has happened to me.I bought a heap of new gear and was only in my second week when, I injected and the following day felt slight pain.So me trying to be tuff put it off for three days. Needless to say it got worse, to the point where I couldnt walk and had to soak it a hot bath for hours. I went to the hospital and they had to extract fluid from my leg and send it to lab to determine what antibiotics would work. In essence, I spent 14 days in the hospital in pain. They gave me antibiotics and it cleared fine. In essence, injecting is tricky always rotate cites, never inject when sweaty or dirty, always pull back to see if you get blood and if you do pull the needle out, have clean hands, new needles or try ass injections. When all else fails go to the hospital, its better to be safe then sorry. Good luck pm if anything.
It's looking like it was just a fluke.. it is much better today but that is the longest I've had something swollen like that.. usually it's 3 days max
I have read something about the oil making it's way down toward your knee when not injected deep enough.I have had it happen. It gets pretty swollen near my knee.
That's what I was guessing it was... but since it's been over a week I was having my doubts
waltrThe problem with high dosage products as I understand it, is that your body absorbs the oil faster than the actual hormone and thus causes the hormone to sit on its own in the muscle, causing pain. If it were me, I'd keep an eye on it and go to a walk-in medical clinic (or your primary care physician if that's an option you're comfortable with) if the symptoms do not subside in a few more days.
My personal experience with quad pinning is that it can be a crap shoot at times. If I'm too close to a nerve it can hurt no matter what the product is and the most common pains I get post injection with quad pins localizes around the outside of the kneecap area.
I personally prefer to pin more of the lower dosage products than high dosage ones do to the possibility of the hormone "balling up" in the muscle and being a literal pain in the ass for a while.
Yeah quads are a crap shoot for me.. I've never really had bad pins on any other muscles.. I constantly hit veins in my quads too.. as long as this isn't an infection I don't mind waiting
