+ 4 Why is Clomid so important in a PCT--Since for some reason people are not using it in their PCT.
Clomiphene(clomid)--works by blocking estrogen at the pituitary. The pituitary sees less estrogen, and makes more LH. More LH means that the Leydig cells in the testis make more testosterone.
When your on Cycle the pituitary thinks your testis are making enough TEST and the LH falls off and the pituitary turns off..
You need to understand that there are two places your body makes LH one is the pituitary the other is the is your testis, which makes both luteinizing hormone (LH) (for natural test conversion, and FSH sperm count and motility)
How does Clomid really work---well you need to understand that in your testis, better yet the Leydig cell is where Testosterone is made. From the conversion of LH. See LH is what your testis use to make Natural test.
But why is Clomid so important in a PCT. Well Clomid, not only blocks estrogen at the pituitary so the pituitary can make more LH--BUT THE PITUITARY ALSO CONTROLS THE MAKING OF TESTOSTERONE IN THE TESTIS So if your pituitary is not functioning correctly your recover time will take longer during a PCT.
Always use Clomid in your PCT...

Clomid blocks Estor from the pituitary---->LH------>Leydig cells---->test---->Clomid blocks Estor----Pituitary makes even more LH---and continues while on PCT--so every week your Pituitary makes even more LH when taking clomid, and will tell the testis MAKE MORE NATURAL TEST!!!!!

Some people experience nasty sides with clomid. I noticed one thing while on pct, I got to see pretty trails at night. I'm only assuming this is from the clomid due to eyesight issues being a side effect. I'm not complaining at all though. The first couple nights I was like, WTF, I didn't take anything. Then remembered the clomid and felt a bit better about it and just enjoyed the mild hallucinations!! And yes, it did stop after finishing pct. Which is good, cuz I drive at night a lot.
my reason for not running clomid are, it cause me to become emotional and i get blurry vision from it. its not pleasant at all for me. i think it actually inhibits my recovery because of the way it makes me feel. i prefer, toremifene, nolva, and aromasin for my pct
vewi, perhaps you can help me with a question I have about Clomid. I began TRT using Clomid (25mg ED) back in June. I had originally tested at 269 for test and then 5 weeks later (on Clomid) at just over 800. I've had no sides, nothing but feeling great and getting healthy. My insurance isn't covering it at this point so I'm paying $50 a month for 15 50mg tabs. I went online and purchased Clomid from a company in India. I purchased 100 100mg tabs... and that's where I have a question. When I got the tablets, it looked like Clomid, it said on the package it was Clomid, but it was noticeably smaller than the 50mg tablets I already have. Is it possible that these smaller Clomid pills are actually 100mg or have I been scammed?
Great information. So many people throw around cycles, PCTs, etc., but with little or no explanation. This is actual scientific information on which people can understand whats going on and make an informed decision. Thanks again for the great info!

Vewiomg.. First Understand that Nova has nothing to do with turning on your Pituitary--
All nova does is block estro in the chest muscle, and help your testis make LH and FSH.. which is good because your testis has the stuff to make Test..
However, unless you have something to kick start your Pituitary--well it will just take longer till your bodies does it self.
Hence why people only do Nova take twice as long to recover.

To understand how clomiphene works, you need to know how the pituitary controls the making of testosterone in the testis. Testosterone is made by Leydig cells in the testis, which I explained in my last post. The pituitary releases a hormone called luteinizing hormone (“LH”) that stimulates the Leydig cells to make testosterone. Testosterone is converted to the female hormone estrogen, and estrogen tells the pituitary to stop making more LH. This kind of negative feedback system is common when it comes to how hormones work. It’s just like a thermostat and heater. As the room gets warmer, the thermostat sends less electricity to the heater. When the room gets colder, the thermostat sends more electricity to the heater.
Clomiphene works by blocking estrogen at the pituitary. The pituitary sees less estrogen, and makes more LH. More LH means that the Leydig cells in the testis make more testosterone.
The pituitary thinks that the testis is making plenty of testosterone, and LH falls. As a result, the testis stops making testosterone, and the usually high levels of testosterone in the testis fall to the lower level in the blood.
So clomiphene is a way to increase testosterone in the blood and the testis at the same time. It preserves testis size and function while increasing blood testosterone.

WHAT ABOUT LONG-EXTENDED CYCLES: Ok, so even tho I just posted a few minutes ago somewhat confused, after reading this I can see that Clomid is a must,even if you use nothing else. But if you say it will help your body make more natural test, why not use it on cycle also so you can use less enanthate or whatever test you choose? So now... you have less risk of sides for 2 reasons by the time your cycle is ending.
Im sorry for asking so much stuff, but it just occured to me....What if you extend your cycle and you go from 14 weeks to 16 and then to 26? Your not going to wait 26 weeks to do clomid and/or nolva are you?
MakaveliCD7In this case thats where HCG comes in to reduce the natty shut down and continue to stimulate production of sperm and test reducing the hypogonadism created by the exogenous hormone...all derivatives of testosterone will shut down ur natty production after a period of time...the ancillaries like nolvadex, Clomid and HCG are great in helping....but it's important that u understand that ur gonna reduce ur natty production bc ur body's homeostasis says u got to much so ur test stops and the estro conversion begins....it's ancillaries like the three above that trick the pituitary and hypothalamus in into secreting the necessary hormones to restart production.... One is not superior to the other but work in what we cal a synergistic fashion to kickstart ur nuts back into production and homeostasis....now amazingly separately they have there own perks like yes estro reduction but nolvadex more so in blocking receptors in breast tissue so thats not gonna really help ur natty too much alone...so u see with Zewi picture above the need for both.... I always encourage HCG midway in long cycles greater than 12 weeks for sure bc it makes a better landing with the pct as well... Using aromasin, nolvadex, Clomid together will ensure the best natty production and maximize ur gains retention potential substantially and if nothing else..... Y not use all means available when it comes to ur nuts bc u only got one pair so unless ur not planning on having kids or something then y not exhaust all means available.... Wouldn't u go to lengths to care for a nice Ferrari??? Lol
VELI, I asked you because next cycle might be my do or die cycle if I dont get the results i want and i notice one common denomenator on every cycle but the last one. I terminated them after 12-14 weeks. ,,,and thats just when im feeling my best. so i know MUST assume 12 is way too short for me and thats jumpstarting my 500mg weekly of sust with 30mg.daily of dbol. Gotta cycle 18 weeks min and see what happens and if im exploding i may as well go for a 26 week cycle.
As far as HCG comes in play, maka, to me thats altogether another world filled with hucksters ,con-men and people i dont want to deal with. im going to be trying an ai and a pct for for first time this coming cycle. Oh muh God. I feel so emotional. Ah might just cry all over aunt Daisys flower bed or billy bobs spurs.

All I know is, talking about Arnold, i bet money if he went from 1980 to right now in a time capsule and saw the ai's we use and pct....and mostly how the really good anabolics.......are the same ones he used years ago...hed freak out so little progress has been made in new products except SERM usage. sO WE JUST HAVE to use what we have,right? I say in 10 yrs we will have gear that you can take and then in 24 hrs do a blood test the next day that will tell you exactly what ai's and pct's to use all thru cycle. Vewionce you start a cycle. I don't give a shit if its 100mg a week. Its more than your body can produce in a wee. Your natural body will shut down making any natural test.
WHOAAA!!! On 100mg of test. a week, my body will totally shut down production? So then that gives me more reason to not wait until end of cycle,especially if its a long one to start PCT. THANK YOU!

Iam! I am! -) Ive been asking questions here as many can attest, for 3 months already. Other boards too. To tell you the truth, ive done exactly 4 cycles in my life and never used an aas or PCT with any of them. No problems on or after cycle. maybe because Im not greedy and I never cycle more than 16 weeks and don't use any oils that add up to much more than 500mg per week. Once I went up to 750mg sust for last 2 weeks. Im just concerned that if I never had any problems, I don't want to create them, especially at the ripe old age of 54. See, I am wondering, since so many of you who have PCT down to a science with 4 weeks of clomid and nolva and thats it....nobody has given any feedback on how that would work on a guy my age. In fact I bet many of you will have a few surprises waiting for you when you hit your late 40's and yes.......you will still be pinning . Once a gear head, always a gear head. LOL !!! -) I was one of the few that stopped for 30 yrs and this is my first year back. I read all the pct reports under the newbie section and its great stuff. But now you bring arimidex and aromasin into the picture, and then you add in deca d in your stack and THEN you need a separate pct for that too!,so i fear even using anything. Personally id like to just use aromasin and keep arimidex on hand since its so fast acting- albeit a bit too strong at 90% estro reducer. But thats my wish, not reality. We all know the only way to really know for sure how to handle sides is by YOU having them yourself and seeing how you deal with it and what works for you. So far Im still in the clomid/nolva camp as a first time pct package. But you guys have been awesome in helping answer my questions. You guys are Aces.
