I know right? This shows the kind of stand up guy Zimmerman is. He puts himself out for others. He did the neighborhood watch and it ended up bad, but he was putting himself out in the first place because the neighborhood had a rash of break-ins.
I think all of this attention on a bad case is definitely polarizing the hell out of us. I see a lot more white people giving up on race relations. I have no idea where we are heading but the recent path is not good. In the meantime I would like to shed light on another case.

It was a local issue that got blown up to the national level in order to distract from serious national issues, like the IRS abuse, NSA spying on Americans, Benghazi, anything the media can do to distract the public attention from what really matters is what they're doing. It was misrepresented by the media and made to be a white/black issue when it never was in the beginning. Heck Zimmerman is hispanic and Jewish, and went to the prom with a black girl, and taught black kids, but now the feds want to push it to a federal civil rights violation case even though he was found not guilty.
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and think I went back into a time machine to the USSR, propaganda, border checks, and no rights at all. Talk about a 180 from back when I served in the army.

This is still being blown up from the Media for a few reasons. The DOJ would love to change the Florida ruling on stand your ground laws. They would also love to abolish the 2nd amendment on guns. But keep in mind do you realize how much money the media is raking in on advertising revenue for airtime during commercial breaks it's like the superbowl....
In short the Law states the prosecutor must prove beyound reasonable doubt that George was not acting in self defense, (Did not happen) or that he acted out of ill will, malice basically premeditated state of mind. That guy did not get out of his car knowing or wanting to kill that young man.
If you need a gun to survive an attack from a 17 year old, dont get out of your vehicle. Period
Or stay in your damn house and shoot anyone who comes in.
PS I have had my ass whooped much worse than that on more than one occasion (once by two cops while handcuffed) and never wished I had a gun

The reason they didn't get a prosecution was because the race baiters got greedy and wanted too much.
He was not guilty of murder or manslaughter, that is evident. He was guilty of poor judgement as was Martin. I've looked at this case unbiasedly. Originally when I seen the story I thought he was guilty until hearing the facts.
90% of black americans made this about race and pushed for racism. I never seen this as a racial case.
They portrayed Martin as a young innocent little kid which he was not, he was a 17 year old self proclaimed thug. No criminal convictions but lots of spotty history especially with stolen property.
Did the kid deserve to die? No, probably not. But he was not a little angel like the media wanted people to believe.
What pisses me off is that this has become racially driven, blacks are the most racist group I've ever come in contact with. I'm not black, I'm not white, I'm not hispanic so I've been able to see every side of racism and prejudice first hand. I've never seen white people attack blacks based on race but I have seen black people do it many times.

Zimmerman profiled this guy for a reason, he looked like a criminal up to no good, if I seen this kid walking through my neighbor I would have thought the same thing. I don't know too many 17 year old 'kids' with tattoos and gold teeth, I would have pegged him for 20.

Zimmerman is not a racist, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and most of the Black American community according to twitter are racially driven. There's a reason why almost no black people sided with zimmerman and white people were split down the middle on it, because white people were looking at it objectively and taking in the facts (mostly). Black people were only backing their own race, they didn't care who was right or wrong. I'm honestly disgusted with the behavior I've seen recently.
In short: I agree that Zimmerman was not guilty of the charges brought against him and in accordance with Florida law, he was well within his rights. Be it right or wrong ethically, the law does not look at ethics.

Racism exist because people want it to exist. I'm not racist but I am prejudice. I hate people that fall into stereotypes. This situation has infuriated me over the past few months that I could not wait for it to be over. I followed the case religiously to the point that i Dvr'd it. I was raised to respect all individuals no matter there race, creed or choices in life. I do not have a racist bone in my body and have many black people in my life that I care for greatly. This case though has opened my eyes to three things that I feel will make my views on this world change for my remaining days on this planet. First I have come to the conclusion that our media is nothing but a propaganda tool for our government to lead the sheep to slaughter. The way they handled this story was so one sided that it was completely obvious that they had one goal and that was to make this about race and to create the illusion this was a hate crime( get to this part in a minute). Secondly i am sick to my stomach with the way our elected officials used this for political posturing. We all should be saddened that a young man lost his life but to see our president make a statement days after the murder with not knowing what went on and say that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. You have to be kidding me, of course he would but why not try to ease the situation. No he used it for his own agenda and that is sickening. Lastly this world with never be cleansed from racism. After watching, listening and talking to people I noticed one thing blatenly obvious. I noticed a lot of white people take the side of the prosecution but I noticed that almost all black people on social media, news and polotics were against the defense. What really opened my eyes was a YouTube channel that I watched which was made by a middle aged African American man that was pleading his case on why Zimmerman was innocent. I did not see one black person agree with him. A matter of fact the comments that were wrote were rude and ignorant to the point where he stopped responding. If i can find the video i will post it for everyone.This brings me to the hate crime I mentioned earlier. Now i read on cnn and yahoo we have civil rights activist( Jesse Jackson, Sharpton ect) including the NAACP demanding the United States Justice Department bring up Zimmerman on hate crime charges. I agree with everyone that both Zimmerman and Treyvon made terrible mistakes and this situation was avoidable. But this was not a hate crime. Why would Zimmerman call the police if he profiled him to kill him? He didn't shoot him because he was black. He shot him because he was getting his ass kicked and feared for his life. What upsets me is that with all the items I listed above that situations and cases like these are going to divide this country to the point that we will never be able to live in a bigot, racism free country. Things are only going to get worse.

He did put a big spin on when he talked about the figures about Blacks robbing Whites at gunpoint VS Whites robbing Blacks at gunpoint. DOJ statistics put white on white crime at about 75% and Black on Black crimes at 85%. So much more likely to be victomised by your own race vs another race.

if someone follows me thru their neighborhood and does not just politely inquire what my buisness is there if they are concerned they may eventually end up with a beat down. if he realy wanted to prevent roberies.. take a photo of the kid for evidence and give it to the cops if a robbery occurs.
