Going to endocrinologist need help??
ad
Well my doctor drew blood and ive been off cycle on pct for almost 3 weeks it was a simple test and 1-test cycle. But my testosterone is low and my liver levels are 3x normal but I never took any kind of orals so I don't know why my liver is like that, could it be from pct? And my other question is my doctor recomended that I see a endocrinologist and I'm wondering do I tell him I juice and just got off a cycle or do I deny it. Any of you guys who knows about this or has been in my situation any feedback would be appreciated!

update: I went to the endo today I didn't say I was taking anything I told him I have a history of pro hormones but havent taken them recenctly. He prescribed me cialis and said after I get my blood work back he might put me on cabergoline because of the prolactin issues with seroquel. He was hesitant to put me on some kind of testosterone gel or anything because I am only 28, so hes running more tests.
Another thing to take into consideration is were you using aromasin as your AI during the cycle? Aromasin is metabolized by the liver and can severely offset your levels. That alone can be causing the high liver levels.
I was using arimidex for my AI.
Just tell him the truth. If your good with your doc kinda mention "I don't want my insurance to know about this". The doc knows that if you lose insurance then he will lose business. Good luck brother..
lol doc isn't worried about losing business. In case you didn't know doctors have more than enough business as is!!
not worth having on your record
Agreed! goes on record and stays forever. No worth telling unless you're in a bed dying like when Armstrong did it and had to come clean to his U.S. doc.
Thanks for the help J223 too appreciate it!
Do you drink alcohol or take other non or prescription medications on a regular basis. That can explain for elevated liver enzymes. Also certain supplements, herbs, vitamins, and minerals can be very taxing to the liver.Explaining the low test can be cause by many things under dosed pct gear, not high enough dosage for pct. Also did you have your test levels run before your cycle to see what your normal levels were at? You might have had low T already. Just a few suggestions. If want to get t the bottom of things then yes you tell him, there is another thread that covers the pros and cons of doctors knowing. But if you are not a semi pro or pro athlete and you not worried about your insurance then I would tell him otherwise they will not be able to give you an accurate cause.
I was taking a soriatane for my psoriasis but my doc took me off after reading my liver levels I also take seroquel everynight for sleep but I can't drop that med because its so beneficial to me and my sleep. I do take a lot of vitamins and minerals every morning. Do you think it a combination of all of them? Didn't get my test taken before cycle. I just don't wanna get dropped from my insurance because my dad pays for it and if I get dropped he will know I'm juicing too :/
I here you about the the insurance then unfortunately you can't give them that info just in case. Seroquel can raise you liver enzymes for sure. But I would bet those extra minerals and vitamins are even a larger cause. I learned this many people think because something isn't a medication that it won't hurt your liver but they are very wrong. Since the liver acts as a purifier any overloading of a herb, vitamin ,and mineral can wreck havoc.
Hey thanks bro, you've been a big help!
No problem brother.
you could always tell him you took a gnc prohormone supplement. that way you aren't openly admitting steroid use plus it's legal and nothing will go in your records.
ya that might be an option, thanks buddy!
That is tricky! Do you have good insurance? If so, then if you tell the truth you could get dropped like a bad habit. On the other hand if you don't tell the truth you could fuck yourself up. Are u taking liver support? The low t is normal for pct as this is the therapy to kick start your natty test. It takes time for them to get in the full swing from being off. How are your LH and FSH levels? If you took a blood test and the doc sees those levels are abnormal he may already have an idea that you were on exogenous test and now your levels are showing the turning back on of your natty test. I don't have the answer but I hope this helps you think of all the angles before moving forward in either direction.
Hey I'm assuming my LH and FSH are in check because my doc probably would have told me. the thing is I do have good insurance and would not liked to get dropped. I take macro reds and gren vibrance once or twice a day and both have milk thistle in them(i put the links down at the bottom so you can see the ingredients)
but the thing is i never took any orals this cycle. so thats why im concered, you don't think pct can have a impact on your liver like that? I wouldn't mind trying to get on trt too tho so I'm not sure what I do?

cbrant10Dang dude that sucks. Sorry to hear that. I would say listen to the doctor and maybe tell the doctor you just got off a cycle. To be honest the more truthful you are the better care you wil receive. You do not want to have liver failure at whatever age you are. They can't legally get you in trouble but it might raise a red flag for them in the future or they might be cool as shit and not care. Maybe get you the proper meds you need for pct and stuff... who know.
Hey appreciate the response bro, ya ill probably just end up telling them whats up, but I wouldn't mind getting on trt im 28 by the way.
