So had some quite severe acne on my back and shoulders that just wouldn't shift. Tried sunbeds to nizoral but to no avail. However about 2 weeks ago I'm laying on my bed and my dogs starts licking my back...spots and all lol. So I think nothing of it until a couple of days later I think my spots are not sore at all. Anyway I think what the f*** and get my dog back on the case. After 2 weeks I'm nearly spot free!!! Is this purely coincidence or could there be something to it.
Ps I don't want to hear from you animal lovers accusing me of animal cruelty hahaha

It's not that weird. There's folk out there who get their bald spots licked by cows and horses 'cause they heard it makes hair grow back...and you know what, in some cases a little peach fuss does grow back

AnonI do believe there is something in a dogs mouth that may cure you or cause you pain.. for me on the other hand... I nearly die when a dog licks me.. so if you see me running from a dog down the street, you will now know why. For you on the other hand, whatever floats your boat (or clears your skin).

Acne can be a bitch. Everyone is different and so many different methods work for everybody. No one is the same. It is very interesting what you are saying though. I guess I should go buy a dog and train him to lick all over me. Lol
Well, I think you may be on to something. We know that dogs have some kind of bacteria in their mouths that heals wounds. But really? You just let your dog get down on your back like that? I mean what did you do to keep him interested? Did you bathe in beef gravy first or something? This is strange to put it lightly. A bit disturbing. What else do you make this dog do? I have some pretty fuckin bad cystic acne on my back. The sun and salt water get rid of it just fine. So in the summer I'm ok. But the winter I do what I can to control it. I won't be trying this out tho. Sorry but I'm a little creeped out thinking about it.
Lol I didn't do anything the thing just started licking me. And I no it's completely fuckin weird but if it gets rid of my spots I cudnt really give a fuck especially when I'm chilling by a pool this summer with my top off letting everyone see how ripped I am hahaha
A dogs sense of smell is very sensitive, they can detect when something has changed with the owner. It may not put off an odor to us but it may to them.

Dogs' saliva have anti bacterial properties so it could be you had bacterial acne which takes a whole diff treatment than hormonal acne and just soap doesn't usually work.. I'm just making a guess here lol.. they were known as healers in ancient Rome.. people literally got the wounds licked purposely for this reason
