+ 15 This one is for my sons!
EBC Final Date today, 10 May 2013: What an experience my first cycle has been. First think I learned was reality check... I was easily above 30% BF. I ended up losing more than 2-stone and still feel a great need for change. I did meet my goal of a 34" waste line that had belly to match, but now I am even more dedicated to my goal of 32".
Another reality check is that it is just about the pins. Pinning certainly brought back my power fast and my arms, neck, chest... they all exploded with size. Then I realized that I looked pretty bad. Recomp is a new world, I have so much more respect for body builders these days. Diet has been the real key to this whole program.
Information: In this sport, as with the whole world, information is key. I have learned massive amounts and am still desiring more information. Enough, got to go get my final pics so I can post them. Cheers everyone.
Tread - I can't find the USA today on this little Island of mine... will you accept the latest Sun? I will look for a USA today when out in town, but I live in a little town in GB. I hate to miss entry on this part.
When my step-sons called me fat after returning from a contact visit with Captain Puniverse in November, it was on. Been eating right and hitting the gym again since.... also decided to join the program to really get the mass back. Placing in EBC would be sooo great, and I honestly think I can do it, but as long as my boys get that admiration back, then all is cool by me. I've already dropped more than four inches on the gut and put back three inches on the arms. Legs are finally showing up out of the mist so I am really looking to June and seeing some size come back!
Clearly I can't tell them the details of the program, but next school sports day, when I show in muscle attire, they'll be proud of their muscle man dad, not some beer bellied fat ass!
I want to maintain 100kg mass whilst losing six inches around that waste line. I would like to finish at 105KG and single digit BF. Current BMI=31.4. I would love a lean BMI of over 33!
Need 19" Biceps and neck and that back needs to come out desparately.
I did not find the right links for products chosen, all are by Fuerza currently:
Tren-Ace 50mg ed
Test-Cyp 400mg week (Mon-Thur)
Test-Prop 150mg week (Mon-Thur)
Anavar 50mg ed
Clen/T3 2on/2off
For those that I pissed off earlier this week, these photos are your opportunity, let me have it; your turn to fire back. I know I deserve it, but when the finish line is here... well, won't be a fat lad-y here to sing about it.

Great work shirl! You rocked this recomp! +1
shirlsguyThank cheat, it has been cool. I am really happy to have been allowed.
Man this is what I'm talking about ! Shirlsguy set his goals high and blew them out of the water !!! I must say you have made us all proud !! The title says it all at one point in my life my wife and kids told me to get moving again ! That's all I needed sure enough I was back in the gym ! As we can see that's all you need ! You look like a brand new man I'm sure your family is so proud of you !! We all are !! +1
shirlsguyBrother, I knew I did well, and I have tried to be appreciative of every comment given, but yours just is icing on the cake. clearly, I have to call it a night somewhere and I think my head is big enough that I have to drag it up the stairs. thank you, thank you, thank your for the comments. Thank you for putting up with my drunken tren rages (lesson learned) and for answering very sensitive pm's. Yes, placement is not so important these days, my boys swing on my arms again, sit on my back when i do push ups and hold my fists for one seriously difficult bicep curl. Goal accomplished. Some compliments just make me tingle, you are one of those, thank you!
I tell people all the time I can help out ! What they do with it is up to them ! Once again Thank you for this journey !!
Well I have to say you put your mind to it and followed through head over hills and sulpted out a new man. Had my fingers crossed for you bud and you made it through the battle alive. Awesome recomp! +1
shirlsguyThank you, humpnpump... much appreciated.
WTF!!!!
I had to refresh my computer to make sure it was not jacking up on me!
You farking rocked it something fierce! You should be proud of everything you accomplished and your family should be thanking you for the extra years of life you have given yourself.
Truly an inspiration and Truly a competitor!!!!
Great Job Brother!!! +1
shirlsguyThank you Meister. Some of the first names I learned on this forum include yours. You, Ollie, fitcprl and Phill... I remember getting pissed and making an ass of myself. But, we fail from time to time, we have to bounce back and turn those into lessons... then rock on. Thanks for the compliments.
Brother, you definitely Rocked on and Rocked it Hard!!!!!
Just checked out Shirlsguy images, and I wasn't sure what I was seeing. I know the man has been doing good in the last few weeks, but this change is truly awesome. Shirl puts a lot of passion in his training, and he's totally dedicated to keeping things improving. Not sure how he's going to improve on this though!
I'm really pleased for you Shirls and I know you'll do well in the final.
Fingers and everything else crossed for you bro.
Craig
shirlsguyCraig - What can I say, you turned my course big time. I remember you getting me as I was pinning my TRT like candy. I had run through my four little amps and was about to crash hard when you told me there was such a thing as AI and pct. If you had not been one of my first contacts, those photos could well have been a horror story instead. You have been there from day one with diet and safety and friendship. thank you
BostonDude....im gonna be honest...i just now saw your pics ok...i saw yours last. And again im being honest. You may not have the best physique out of this group ok...but it's hard to say that you havent made the most dramatic changes. Thats just MY opinion though. What you have done here is just simply incredible bro. Very very impressive my friend. This is worthy of the crown imo.
shirlsguyIf judges go the same then I will have one hell of a summer! I was pretty tore up (not in a good way) the beginning of this year. I was sick of it and dedicated to change. I think the rest of this year on clean diet and proper program and I can start presenting my full vision. Thank you so much for the comments.
Well, I haven't seen all the entrants to the ebc. I do know that it takes brutal commitment though... ESPECIALLY to make a transformation in the way that you did. I was honestly thinking this was not the same person ... But it is. We've not spoken I don't think, but my hat is off to you sir! I'm bald and NEVER take my hat off ;-).
Inspiration for me to train harder.... More intense. And constantly keep my diet in check. It's good to see a fellow 40+ year old succeed.
shirlsguyFinman - Thank you for the compliment. Yeah those of us approaching 50 have to stay together. This next stage, I'm moving up to the free weights again.... I have five months back in gym with LifeFitness, I figure the joints are ready for real weight this time around. I'm going to tax those shoulders a bit too as I could not really tolerate over head presses due to a genetic problem... but I think I am ready now. Here we come, brother. Thanks for the complement again.
WOW...Truly amazing! You do not look like the same person!!!!! Fantastic commitment in all your hard work. Well done ;)
shirlsguyThanks, iheart!
Awesome job just amazing! +1
shirlsguyThank you, I plan to make even better results for next EBC... see you there!
Congrats my man ! Your hard work paid off for sure !
shirlsguyThank, I'm just chuffed to bits!
AnonCongrats man lots of hard work paid off.
shirlsguyThank you, I am chuffed.
Great work mate, thats pure dedication.
Ive sent a FR. I was hoping to ask a couple of ?s.
shirlsguyAccepted, but do remember that I am a self-professed captain of the 'crash test dummies'.
Sounds dangerous, hopefully you'll be gentle on a first timer, lol.
Really impressive! Well done mate
shirlsguyThank you!
No1Damn bro, you deffinently put in the hard work, looking great
shirlsguyStill working it... have big plans, thank you for the compliment.
bigKountryThat's some hard ass work right there brother!+1
shirlsguyWow... a blast from the past. I am afraid that I have had to let the cuteness of 196-lb go in favor of that ever teasing me goal of 100kg (225-lb). I've kept the same waist line, but the back has pretty much exploded which is what I was after. I really look forward to next EBC, though I may have to do a lot of it off cycle, but I have held it together. Thanks for the compliment, it never grows old.
