Feel like coming off trt for a few months
ad
Ive been on trt for some years now. All of my blood work comes back fine. I feel fine. But none the less, Im feeling tired of trt.
This is kind of an over 40 pct question. I am going to take igf while off, probably clomid or nolva. Any other suggestions? I want to stay off 2-3 months.

Have you come off? We'd all like to hear how it goes.
Keep checking your blood work monthly as you stop trt. And watch your mood swings and sense of well being. If that all degrades as you stop trt you may reconsider staying on it. I know it is a pain in the ass (literally), but it is about quality of life.. Do without for a while and if you start to realize your life coming apart, you may consider a life long commitment to TRT just as someone mentioned like a diabetic makes a commitment to insulin shots.
I know I was a grouchy son of a bitch until I got on TRT. I understand why old men become assholes now. They have no testosterone. My wife says I am a different person now. She is is finally getting fucked properly after 3-4 years of improper and unsatisfactory performance on my part. I wouldn't have blamed her if she had looked for some strange on the side the way I was performing. I was at peak from 18-40. After 40, all kinds of screws came loose. Sometimes you got to tweak that stuff w/ TRT to get in the zone.
Try using slin pins it makes it a lot easier. IMO you are on TRT for life at this point, and feeling bored of it is no where near as shitty as you will feel without it.
Exactly. TRT is for life. The moment you come off, your levels will go right back down and all the shit symptoms related to it.
I really hope you are wrong. I will find out soon enough.
Hi Aesop,
I sort of am in the same place as you right now. I've been on doctor prescribed Testosterone Ethenate at 250mg every 3 weeks, and feel like it is hardly enough. For half of the time at least, I am impatiently awaiting the next boost. Instead of getting it switched to every 2 weeks, I am thinking of rebooting my natural T production.
Now I'm not like some guys who do this through diet, exercise, sleep and nutrition. I'm no way nearly disciplined enough for such a regimen. Nope, I will be doing this with an alternative form of supplementation.
First, I plan to switch for a short while to HCG which is human Chrionic Gonadotropin also known under the trade name Pregnyl. It is a hormone extracted from the placenta of pregnant Dutch mothers. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but check it out and you'll find out it's for real.
This is said to boost your natural testosterone production and rehabilitate your testes, causing them to regrow and not stay shriveled up like pecans. However, it is not supposed to be used too long, as it can also mess up your other levels, etc. So I won't be doing it too much.
Then I shall try to reboot all my natural hormone production by injecting sub-cutaneously peptides and growth hormone. Of course I cannot recommend any of this to others, as it is both subject to legality in your place of residence, requires doctor supervision and frequent blood levels testing, and must be administered with careful attention to dosage.
The protocol will be first injecting sub-Q 100mcg (micrograms and not milligrams) of Mod GRF 1-29 along with an identical does of Ipamorelin, followed by a second Sub-Q injection between 5 and 10 minutes later of rHGH which is synthetic human growth hormone. The latter can be purchased pharma grade at a very high cost with a doctor's prescription (in the USA) or can be ordered as a test chemical preferably form a source which delivers proper quality underground product from China. My choice is Riptropin which has the longest recently reliable track record, from a supplier with positive feedback at Eroids.com.
I will be posting my protocol results some time later, if you're interested.
Cheers,
Hunk Chunk
testaholicYes. Not nearly enough. I dint understand why they prescribe it this way. Your levels gotta like a fucking roller coaster. I'm prescribed 200mg EVERY WEEK.
bro just switch to the cream......Easy wipe on stomach shoulder everymorning and boom your done.......Not as strong as shots but it levels you out and keeps you feeling good, but the pumps at the gym will not be as strong.....
I would be very interested in how this works out for you. I have been on trt for about 6 years (Testim 100mg/day) and the closest I came to going off was when I was traveling and forgot to pack it--10 days.
I definitely felt it. And felt almost immediately better once I resumed.
I have no issues with the daily maintenance. I have considered regular test cyp maintenance injections, but am okay with the gel. It gives a very level, consistent test levels.
x2.. uncleyoked
Your blood levels come back fine while running TRT but what are they off? Can't be very good if you've ran TRT as long as you say you have. I'd expect you to see noticeable negative sides if you discontinue your maintenance test dosage all together, predominantly in the sexual department. ED, anorgasmia, lack of interest can all become a factor for you with the absence of exogenous test. At this point, TRT is likely your only avenue.
Thanks for getting back with me guys...Ok man here is my stupid story. I started trt through a sorry doctor.
I had all of the symtoms of low t and I had low t. Started trt and didnt have much improvement. Went to another doctor and he ran the test and saw that my problem was thyroid. Low t alright, low t4.
Started armour felt better, so much better I never stopped the trt either. I left out a few details to sum it up quick, but you get the idea.
Ive been working outside of the USA for the last 5 years. Just returned home and Im bored with it. (TRT) I will probably find myself back on in a couple of months. Just want to come off right and not drop too many gains. I started on 125 enanthate ew with hcg and arimidex. When I could no longer get hcg I started 200mg enanthate ew and arimidex
Tired of it man. Got any ideas how to come off right? Ill do the blood work again if I can make it off 6 months.
Honestly, there's no good way to do it. I will say we're all different and not everyone responds or rebounds from these compounds identically. I'm 32 and on TRT because of stupid decisions in my early 20's. I have to let my blood levels crash from time to time when my doctor runs lab work. This means I come off everything except the maintenance dose of cyp. I bottom out. Energy levels and motivation plumate, erections are not as strong, I have a hard time staying hard while having sex with my wife. That presents a new set of issues because she takes it personal, that I don't find her attractive. This ultimately leads my over all sense of well being going into the crapper for a few days. This is all over the course of a few weeks or so. Given your age and the amount of time youve ran TRT, I'd say you would likely experience some of those issues as well if you stopped the test. Pinning gets old, and I totally get where you're coming from. But think of it in terms of an insulin dependent diabetic. It's just something you have to do in order to sustain a sound quality of life. You might inquire about the test cream. They're less effective than the injections, but they are simply a topical. Rub it on your chest and it absorbs through your skin. There's ultimately only one way to find out what will happen, go off TRT for a little while and see how it goes. Get lab work done a few weeks after your last injection and see how you feel.
testaholicYeah, its gonna be fucking rough bro. For me even coming down to prescribed dose sucks...
My endo actually wanted to prescribe me hcg to run alongside the test just in case I felt how he does now.
Sounds like your wife and my wife may be related. I can relate to all of your statements about sides when coming off. Insulin comparison is a good parallel. Sucks that for the long term foreseeable future I am gonna have to pin 2x per month but compared to quality of life when not on it makes such a difference
Im going to try and put together the pct cycle and then wing it. I will also prepare for the crash and burn if that comes..........Thks for the input
Please keep us informed how it goes. I am sure many of us are very curious.
Yeah like I said, we're all different. I actually talked to a guy last night about this and he said the cream made for a nice transition. Have to get it from your doc. Good luck man and I hope it all works out for you.
