the "advance" tag

ad

I feel that alot of the members here who are very knowledgeable are under-represented with the karma system. I am suggesting that we make exception to give the advance tag to members who dont have 400 karma points just based on their knowledge. im not going to name any one, dont wana start a debate. its just an idea and i wont be hurt if it gets shutdown

If you don't agree with the current system of Karma and tags or how they are obtained, submit new requests and Ideas to BFG in the appropriate place.

That was to the OP. A lot of ppl seem to find it important tho. If not it wouldn't be such a hot topic!

I agree whole heartedly. I see people who contribute nothing but pics of themselves and have gained 100's of karma points. But at the end of the day you need to really see who is saying what and always weigh it up. There are a few on here that I would listen to and believe it. Others I wohld be researching it prior to accepting the info. So always research what is being said. My .02worth anyway

I wouldn't worry about it too much. People who are truly advanced move up quit quickly on their own merit.

I'd actually like to see a check list in every ones profiles of the compounds they've used and numbers next to them indicating how many cycles they've completed with the compound.. maybe find a way to represent their first hand experience with compounds in their tag. I think this would just help newbies looking for advice on certain compounds.. Of course some people will try to lie about their use.. what ever they won't last long.. those guys always get caught eventually on here.. But for the rest of us I think it'd help and give those members a tag to represent their experience with steroids

I'm thinking tags color coordinated by the gear used.. Like a amber/orange tag labeled tren with the number of cycles completed by it.. That'd be the tag

can get points by copy n pasting other members articles

For real ! Imagine my surprise when I rejoined and saw one of my entire articles copy/pasted into someone's and reading all the comments below it plus the fk ton of points he got for it.

I'm not gonna name names, bc he took it down when I asked. But shit like that pisses me off. A lot l time, effort, and thought goes into all my shit. If I copy/paste anything, you can bet its gonna be shown as a "quote" and will have the reference link to give credit to the writer. This other cat had not one reference link to my shit, and mine aren't the only ones he copied.

So, enough of my rant...

That'd piss me off too.. I know you put a lot of effort into your write ups doss

If those members are making quality contributions to the site then it's only a matter of time before they get their advanced tag. IMO. by dropping the entrance requirements for an advanced tag you are 'cheapening' the idea of the tag so that eventually it may become overused and under-respected. However, i think that the pro tag is being correctly used, to members who compete despite what level their karma is.

good point, forgot about the pro tag
