Low T vs Retained gains

I wish i had normal T,
to all those out there with low T do you find it hard to keep the gains you make from cycle more than those with high T,

I'm talking after a few months after cycle would you be near square one again? Im not looking for "depends how much work you put in" because i no this is a big factor but how much of a disadvantage are we with low T compared to the average joe

crayon, i take you seriously

I'll give you an analogy... You start at the bottom of a hill. When using exogenous hormones for blasting purposes, you are riding your bike up the hill. When you cease using exogenous hormones, regardless of your natural levels (which may have already been low, or will only be lower due to exogenous use), you will begin slowly rolling down the hill. It may take those with better natural levels a longer time to roll down that hill, but eventually, everyone will end up at the bottom of the hill.

The idea of pct'ing, "keeping your gains," and cycling in general are outdated. As time goes on, and more and more people realize the value of maintaining peak hormones levels (which most will need exogenous hormones for) it won't seem as taboo as it does currently.

All that being said, go be honest with a physician you can trust. Get tested. And make a conscious well thought out decision. Don't let anyone deter you with "you're too young." You are never too young to feel well in a healthy hormonal range. If your doctor is uncomfortable issuing a prescription, see if he would be open to reviewing your bloodwork if you chose to pursue a trt-type option on your own. best of luck..

Proper response.

I understand how you feel. 22 years old is young to have low T levels and to be on TRT for life. I would find an endocrinologist and see what they have to say. Just have to search around for the right one. Some do not just look at the number you are in but what the baseline is for your age. a general doctor won't go into this stuff at its usually out of their scope but an endo will offer more insight. is there anything you have done that may have contributed to the low test? its going to be tough at your age but its possible. low t levels does drain the life out of you with low symptons so i feel ya bro. if you did a cycle and shut down your natural production you will be under 400's T level.

This is in the TRT forum, so most of us already have low t and are doing something about it. I can say that physiologically, if you have low t you are already at a disadvantage when it comes to keeping gains off cycle, assuming your question implies the person in question is not on TRT already.

My T is in the "normal" range 471 but much lower than most people my age and lower than most under 35 but because its still considered a normal level, even though the range is like 300-1000 which is fricken ridiculous, he said im not allowed it, also he didnt want to give a 22yo Test Replace Theropy

471 is certainly not in the normal range. Unless you consider normal to be in the range for an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and death (that's Total T less than 550 mg/dL).

The range that the lab uses for "normal" is nothing more than the 95% confidence interval of samples collected at that lab. Your doc usually doesn't send men in optimal health to have their levels checked. The range the lab is reporting is mostly those who are ill or suspected of being ill.

Using the 95% confidence interval, only the highest and lowest 2.5% will out of range.

Find a doc that is interested in the subject and has become informed on the subject. You will probably be required to pay out of pocket to the expertise you need.

I feel you brother, you are old enough to be given trt, fucking age has nothing to do with it if you have extremely low levels of T. There are teens/men on trt all over the world where trt is given. Your levels are lowish for your age, maybe another doctor would help you out of this nightmare? Whats normal for some is not the same for others, it sounds to me that you may need trt as its not uncommon to feel like shit towards the lower normal range and at least you had bloodwork to take a look at. But in defense of the doc, he has to follow guidelines yet it sounds like he's one of those assholes who thinks that 'you'll grow out of it' to me which is why he would not consider even giving you a gel at the very least.

Same here. 33 yrs old, test was 400s. Felt like shit, all symptoms of low t. Insurance Doc said I was normal, so I paid out of pocket for my own endo TRT doc, and I am now feeling a lot better.

So are you running your own Test Replace Theropy?

Edit: soz i just reread and you paid for a doc not gear, thats great.
i dont think any1 will take me serious and im only 22 with these symptoms 471, i gotta find some1 who will take me serious

You can find somebody, are u in the USA?

If you have "Low T" you should probably be on TRT. People with low T are at a huge disadvantage. You would see a huge improvement of quality of life if you got your T into the normal range.
