I usually drop a serving of Greek yogurt with fruit into a vanilla bean protein shake. Tastes like cheesecake.

Directly after my WO I toss back a shake made up of 50g protein, 90g carbs, 10g BCAA's & glutamine, 5g creatine. 1000iu vit.C, 400iu vit.E.

50 min. Later I'll eat 8oz chicken breast, 1 1/4 cup white jasmine rice. Digestive enzyme (half way through meal.)

Right after working out, your body is an open door to nutrients from food and is actually screaming for them. Protein is my choice to bring aminoacids: chicken, fish, ptotein shake. I usually go with protein shake, it is easy to prepare. You can mix whey powder with frozen berries (my favorite) and water, or with almost any combination of ingredients.

x2 exactly what I do I use 12oz milk though...

Bro, you gotta slam 40-60 grams of waxy maize plus 20 grams of BCAA within 7 seconds of finishing your last set of squat rack curls. Otherwise, you'll go straight catabolic.

Lol no probs

I eat an hour or so before i work out.. digest and make sure my stomach is empty.
dont like a full stomach when i lift.. I take a gallon of ICE water , and a semi frozen
protein shake with me.. and maybe a power bar..I eat as I workout.. so im munching while
im lifting... works better..

after works out.. sit and wait for body to cool off.. then i munch on something small..
( could be anything).. hopefully some protein..carbo or something like that.. large meals
dont work for me before or after..

i have workout around 6pm so usually i have protein shake right after and when i will get back homa (which usually takes around half an hour) i got chicken or cottege cheese and right before bed some micellar casein. Also i dont eat carbs later.

Adawnis's picture

If you like Cottage Cheese you can drop the casein and replace it with a/another Cottage cheese meal pre-bed. They're both Casein protein.

USUALLY I HAVE A SHAKE OF WHEY PROTEIN BETWEEN 40 TO 50 GRAMS. 30 MINS LATER I WOULD HAVE MY LUNCH/DINNER DEPENDING YOUR WORKOUT TIME.PREFERABLY I TEND TO EAT LESS CARBS THE LATER IT IS.SO I USUALLY HAVE 8 OZ CHICKEN WITH SOME BRUSSELS OR BROCCOLI. PRE WORKOUT I ALWAYS LIKE TO CARB UP , SO A BIG BREAKFAST WOULD CONSIST OF 5 WHITES 1 WHOLE 2 SLICES EzEkiel Bread 3 SLICES TURKEY BACON AND 2CUPS OATMEAL. AND 30 MINS BEFORE WORKOUT A 40 TO 50 GRAM PROTEIN SHAKE(BSN SYTHA 6 DELISH:P)
