Ending cycle early question

ad

Well, I'm pretty bummed out about this but if in a couple days I can't hit the gym, I'm making the call and ending my cycle. I posted last week about hurting my back and it's still bothering me but it is getting better every day. I'm just not where I feel I need to be in order to hit the gym hard. My last gym day was last monday. I was planning on going back tomorrow to see how I do. I just have to be smart and stay away from anything with lower back. I was 10x worse last monday and still managed to pound out a chest day.

Anyway, for those that don't know. I'm running 500mg test per week ,adex @ .5 E3D (.25 had my E2 a bit high per my labs). I was going to do a prop taper of 100mg (or 150mg) EOD at the end. I'm wondering what I do now if I decide to call it a wrap. I'm at the beginning of week 9 now. Do I basically stop my Test E shots and begin the prop taper? Or just stop any shots and start pct in 2 weeks?

My understanding is I continue as planned, just earlier than planned? I researched and that's how I came to my conclusion but no matter what, I'm going to ask before I make a move. I like to hear it from the big boys!

I can't tell you how bummed I am right now. It was going good. It's been a fantastic learning experience so this is by far a waste of time and money. I have zero regrets (other than squats and deadlifts. I should have known better...the price you pay of thinking you're superman while on cycle). Even that is a learning experience. I even learned more about my diet than I had expected. All around, as bummed as I am, I can't wait for my next one. At least I can start the next one earlier than planned. Another silver lining!!!

So, 2 more days. Send me some good vibes and help me in my hopes that I'm recovered and ready to go by then!

I hurt my back a long time ago in a bad car wreck. An 18 wheeler landed on the hood of my car. No joke. Lucky to have walked away. Anyway every so often it just locks up and takes time to nurse it back to normal. I'm def healing. I'm going to hit the gym tomorrow and see how it goes. I feel like I can do plenty, just not what I'm use to doing. I normally don't wear a belt (only on leg and lower back) but I'll be wearing it until I'm comfortable again. If I can work it tomorrow and still feel ok I will continue.

Yoked thanks you just made my decision more difficult lol. I def want to keep going. I know I will heal I always do I just feel like I'm wasting the test if I can't really workout. Sucks worse mentslly because I was feeling unreal. Now this is going to sit in the back of my mind.
You say test has healing powers (well kinda) would it help to throw in some prop now to boost test per week. I say prop because it's quick and boosting test e dose I'd imagine wouldn't do much in the short term.

Lol sorry bro. I was just trying to hit your post from all angles. It sounds like your back issues are more skeletal related rather than a muscular injury. You're back is really nothing to mess around with. It would probably be wise to start preparing for your pct. If it was something like a pulled or strained muscle of some kind I'd say try to adapt until you were back to normal. But really you probably need to take a break for a while.

Its definitely a muscle issue. Sadly I've been through this enough to know the difference between muscle and skeletal. It's possible a disc moves slightly but what ends up happening is one side (usually my left) locks up. My muscles get so tight that it curves my torso. Pulling one hip up. Over the course of a week it slowly migrates and works it's way out. It's just something I'm always going to deal with. I deserve it in a way. I let my guard down and I'm paying the price. Deadlifts and squats in the same week... I'm an idiot.

Just finished my workout... At 4:30am lol. Now it's off to work. Overall it went better than expected but we will see how I feel tomorrow..

If you're just gonna call it a day with this cycle, I would just wait two weeks after your last test e injection. Don't waste the prop if you're basically calling this one a wash. That being said, you can still continue in with this cycle as long as you're able to find various exercises to keep your muscles working. I've dealt with numerous on cycle injuries involving muscles and I swear the gear helps accelerate the healing process. May be all in my head, but I know my recovery time is definitely shorter while running gear. It might be adventitious for your next cycle to finish this one as planned and allowing the extra test to help speed up your recovery. Everyone responds differently so that call needs to be made by you. Good luck.
