Cycle for Endurance Athelete - Competitive Road Cyclist

ad

OKay so here goes my first "real" cycle in about 20 odd years of racing bikes however first as a amature masters.

First off I am 6', 170-175lbs from day to day with about 6-8% BF at 42 years of age. This is about right for a winter weight. However, lighter than I have been this time of the year for a long time. I race year round and am indoors at the track now. I would train around 14 hours per week on the bike this time of year most of which is fairly intense. The outdoor season begins in early April and runs through to the end of Novemeber. The important time is early spring.

I was going to do the following based on some past experience and some intense research - please comment as you would.

12 weeks
HGH - at 2-5iu all year - split @ two shots a day morning and night
Weeks 1-8 - Test Prop 100mg per week shot subq @ 4 shots of 25mg
Weeks 1-8 - 20mg of Var (just because I have it) 1 pill morning the other evening
Weeks 1-8 - 1/4 arimidex eod
Weeks 9-12 Test Prop 125mg per week shot subq @ 5 shots of 25mg
Weeks 9-12 Var 40 mg split through day
Weeks 9-12 1/2 arimidex eod

Wait 3 days then PCT

100/day clomid for 2 weeks then
50/day clomid for 1 week then
25/day clomid for last week

I have Letroz, Nolva and HCG on hand and may run the HCG at 500iu/w on week 10

Okay let me have it. But before you rip in - remember - water will kill me - for every 5lbs of weight I lose exactly 7watts per second and or 1 yard per minute on a 7-8 minute - 1 mile hill. May not sound like much however when your winning by 1/16 of an inch - its huge. When your doing all out 20 minutes efforts - those 7 watts are very difficult to come by and usually take weeks of hard trainning to acheive.

A diet, losing overall body weight will help more than just about anything cause you'll be moving less overall mass over the entirety of the distance. I guess you could take any of the known weight loss supplements there are, but most of the highly effective ones are damaging to the heart so I would be hesitant. My honest opinion would be watching what you eat over everything, something as small as 10 pounds will make a big difference after miles, more than any drug might do. If you wanna take something, then take creatine, quickest thing to improve endurance.

I am running about 100-125mg of prop. Dropped the Var - way to many cramps in my calves. Doing about 2iu per day 5 times per week of GH - not sure on the quality of that stuff. I'll run some clen and other stimulantes from time to time but nothing to work as a anabolic agent. The Test prop is shot at about 25-27mg every other day and I am taking 1/4-1/2 arimidex every day. Feeling good and can add another hard workout or from 3 to 4 hard effort work outs per week. I'll top the EPO at around 50-55 crit at 2000iu per shot 3 times per week and run that for 6 weeks - just started that.

125mg test E/week, 200-300mg EQ/week, 10-20mg Tbol/ED, 2-3ius HGH/ED. Wow that's alot of dope and pins with the 3X EPO shots I got to do. Into my third week and feel really good with just the Test Prop. Started the EPO so on track. Perhaps next cycle I'll try some EQ or Tbol - I thought EQ made you hungry and as such will make me fat.

Sorry forgot to inclued the boat loads of EPO I have. I have 2 Hgb testers and usually top my crit to about .50 and or about 169 Hgb/l or 16.9g/dl. I run this for about 6 weeks 2-3 times per year. However my issue is not fitness it is strenght and recovery. Basically not strong enough to turn over big gears and I never really recover from hard trainning

EPO brother. Obviously worked for Lance. You might think about adding EQ to your mix. In a short run, your muscular gains won't be much. But you'll benefit from the added RBCs. That's where your endurance increase is gonna come from.
