Motivation

ad

I see alot of people start with fire and then they slow down and start to take days off, it's start with maybe I ll skip out on some reps then it become with well maybe I should take some days off. Or I just don't have in me to push to the max ...etc ... Excuses.

Well the reason I'm posting this is that I had found that most people that give up are the ones who are not going to the gym for the right reasons, they are the ones who are doing this to impress girls or to impress themselves or reach a certain goal. Now I'm talking just pure gym working out , not AAS.

I go to the gym and push every single time harder. I do it because I like the mental effects. It's almost like a high. I hardly flex infront of the mirror. I don't care what I look like or at least I'm not insecure about it. If I don't go to the gym .. I don't get my high.. And then I become depressed. And as u all know I have a depression problem already.

My point is go to the gym because of the mental effects , don't go because u want to be big or u want to impress anyone. Because what happens is when u do reach that perfect body or get that girl then ur motivation will crash. I go to the gym to find peace and get my high. That's why I don't skip a day and I can stay in there 3 hrs every time .

I hope u all find ur motivation, if ur getting psychologically tired ... Ur doing some thing wrong..ur not over training .. No such thing as long as u have good nutrition

I feel that I have to work out, it makes my anxiety and depression from PTSD minimized. I get that mental high from lifting, and my ex-wife wont stay off my wang since i started getting back in shape. I don't go to the gym as often when im off cycle, because I don't heal as fast, I don't want to over-train.

Bro I agree with everything u said about not skipping days and shit. Not gonna lie I took 2 days off mon and tue this week I have flu or really bad sinus infection, felt better today and had good workout. Now I feel like shit again lol. Still going tmrw tho. Anyways- I believe there should be at least one 4-6 day break in every cycle 12 wks and over. At around wk 8-10 when I've been going hard as shit I take a 4 day break and I get back in gym following that strong as hell. That's just my opinion and I know others agree with me in this, I'm not saying it has to be done but for me and others I know, it helps, and repairs you real good. I don't agree with your what you said about WHY people should be going to gym. Bro, it's different for everyone. Not everyone has to be like you. I don't go to just push harder everytime .. I know my body and that's over doing it , if what u mean by that is to heavier and heavier, to me that's ridiculous. I'm in a very long term relationship, impressing girls is also not my reason. I go for a plethora of reasons that change each year. Some days it actually is push harder like u do, and most days it's about sculpting my physique and yes, getting bigger. And more shredded. Right now I'm really working hard on my abs. Just because a guy is in the gym to impress a girl does not make it wrong, he probably has low self esteem and I bet if he sticks with it, in a year or two, his reason will change from impressing girls to, idk, pushing harder! It's different for everyone and I truly believe it changes daily for most ppl, I guess not for you, u like to push harder than the day before, and hey that's cool brother whatever gets you in there and your blood pumping!

Bro it takes way more cycles to compete in sports . Look at Armstrong and other athletes . They run cycles on and off all the times. My point is what happens when u get the perfect body are u going to stop going to the gym or lose ur motivation
