How many hours of sleep do you get each night, usually?
For me, I don't feel as good if I don't get a full 8 hours of rest, especially after hard workouts.

i try to get 8 hours of sleep but that is not very often (5-7 hours of sleep). so whenever i remember i relax, while working or doing anything. also i have realized that the brain starts dreaming after completing it's rest period but the body requires more time to rest. so my goal during the day is to keep my body relaxed as much as possible.
Usually i try to take the necessary 8 hours, but sometimes i simply can not do that.
Besides that i follow a set of rules for a healthier sleep:
i never watch TV or sit at a computer one hour before bedtime, because it stretches the optic nerve, and in consequence it disturbs the cerebral cortex.
Three hours before sleep i avoid any physical activity, especially exercising.
Usually in bed i read something, a magazine or a book and plan tomorrow's activities.
I also avoid drinking alcohol many hours before my sleep.
Wow I defiantly need top stop watching tv shows on my laptop before I sleep
just stop watching them 45 min-1 hour before you really fall asleep
when training really heavy I need 8 to 10 hours of deep sleep to fully recover
I can't function on anything less than 6 when training, over training effects hit hard and fast when I don't get enough sleep.it's like I hit a wall and lack of motivation and hardcore soreness is the result.when I get enough sleep I'm rarely sore.
Junkie mines the same I work at the oddest hours of the day sometimes from 10-11pm and sometimes 10-noon then 1-11pm. So on the reg i get tops 5 hours but if i get anymore I always wake up t 7-8 am no matter if i get drunk or just stupid stay up late with video games. So ya my sleep part of my life dosent exsit in all lo. In all i'd say if you work out twice a day for say 3 hours in all you need prob around 6-7 hours of sleep not at one but maybe in cat naps. Cat naps seem to work better for the human body because youe sleep cycle when you wake up is as important as anything in life you wake up at the wrong time your tired as shit ,but right time you feel like a million bucks. So i have a program that wakes me up if it's on at the right time each night, but i usually wake up at the right time auto now due to that. It's all the more benefit to me in the long runn for working out
My sleeping schedule is all fucked up, ill sleep for 4 hours--wake up feeling wide awake, and then a few hours later ill pass out again for another 1-2 hours
I wish I could get 8 hours, right now i get 5 to 6 just cant sleep anymore. I workout in the Am cuz if I work out at night im up all night.
AnonI prolly get closer to 6-7 at the most. When I'm training hard and dieting, that starts to catch up with me pretty quick. I'd rather get a solid 8 hrs but it just doesn't happen...
i try not to drink anything a few hours before bed because sometimes i end up waking up earlier than normal, having to go to the bathroom. i need to work on that and drink a protein shake at least 90 minutes before bed.
how many i would like and get is much diff i never really get more than 6-7 hours at the most
AnonSame here bro.
do you like to work out morning, afternoon, or evening?
for me, if i work out in the morning i feel the need to get more sleep because it's when i first wake up and don't have any food in me, yet, as opposed to eating all day and then working out at night.
