Lentils?
ad
So I am unfortunately not a rich man, although damnit I try.
I was searching for a decent and cheap thing I could have for breakfast on a cut and I came across lentils.

It is high in Fiber, protein and low in fat. I enjoy throwing egg whites and a few yokes in with them and cookng them up with a pinch of salt and it tastes really good.
Plus they are incredibly cheap, at $2 per pound for organic green french lentils.
I was wondering if anyone else eats then and are there any things to watch out about them when on a cut?
Thanks for your time.

I love lentils, eat them all the time. I have grams hook them up. i treat them like a carb in my meals though, even though high in protein. Second most if not the most of all plant based foods?
Lentils are where its at!!! One thing though, make sure you're adding another protein with them. Most proteins from nonmeat sources are incomplete. I made indian dishes with lentils to mix it up.
nice bro. fibrous carbs are exceptional, especially during the day pre-working out.
I also eat a poor mans breakfast, which consists of 1 cup egg whites (carton), 1/2 cup water, 1 cup of oats, 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder. Mix together and microwave for 1 minute and you have yourself some oatmeal of a great consistency that takes like hot chocolate. (not to mention 60g protein and 60g of clean carbs)
This is also my pre-gym meal... i dont think you will find a cheaper/better source of lean mass than this meal. Cheers
just beware what your ass will smell like for the ENTIRE day . hehe .. its something awful... but hey, everyone likes their own brand ;)
