Bulk up more or cut then cycle?

ad

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to just spend the next three months attempting to gain a much muscle as humanly possible on my frame and then cutting for my cycle or should I cut down and bulk on cycle?

The cycle is a simple
12 week test e at 500mg per week

Current stats
5'11"
205lb
14% bf

I agree with swoll, 14% isn't too bad so I guess you could go either way depending on diet... Seeing that it's comfort food season I'd lean towards Bulk then do some shedding natty as a pre cycle plan before the spring/summer cycle.

If you can get a lower bodyfat before you cycle its the best idea. 14% isnt too bad, but if you can get it lower definetly do it!

Thanks for the replies, should have probably posted my over all goals. Over all goals is to hit 220 at around 11-12% bf. That would make me cry tears of childish joy.

Don forget the scales can be deceptive. I'm 237lbs this morning at around 11%, I look bigger than when I was 250 at 15%. The mirror often tells a different story to the scales.

I hear you there my buddy who is 1 inch shorter than me and 10lbs less but at 4% body fat (pre comp) looks like the hulk next to me.

I'd be tempted to hit the diet and cardio hard, drop a couple of % bf before next cycle. You'll see results more quickly which is motivating for you.

Good luck.

Also thanks for the replies.

I was intending on cutting regardless. But would it be to attempt to bulk up as much as humanly possible for the next 3 months and then cut up then cycle, or just cut up and cycle.

Cut then cycle IMO. Then lean bulk on cycle.

Feel free to drop me a line if you need any help with your diet etc.

Really only you can answer that one, depends on your goals. Everyone is different, I don't like getting much above 12% bf as I start to look too bulky and I put weight on my face.

Lol. I hear you, not as easy at our age! I like my food too much, problem I have is 14% very easily becomes 20%.
