Liver care... is Liv 52 the best? anything better?

so i have been using liv 52 since i discovered it a long time ago. it has done wonders for me and i love it but is there anything better out there? or is my best bet to stick with the liv 52 DS?

Liv52 is OK but N2 Guard is better and Tudca is even better
suniljiAccording to me Liv 52 is one the best product Himalaya ever had. Before this we had only allopathic based medicines which were full of side effects.
Whereas Himalaya liv 52 is completely natural and free from any side effects.

Okay...for ONE...I noticed at the bottom of the read there was a link to a product called 'Liver Balance Plus'...so, a competitive advertisement?
HOWEVER!!!...I believe there is ALOT of truth to what was being written. The liver is quite a resilient organ and I have put mine thru years of abuse already, and mine is fine. Like it says, the liver is like a muscle and needs worked...just don't overwork it, lol!! That's interesting how it says that all milk thistle really does is make a barrier of sorts and all the toxins get bounced off and into the fatty tissues of the body..that's a pretty good argument and I kinda like the sound of it. I am not entirely educated enough on the ins/outs of liver function though...and I feel I would need to be to debate this a bit more!
Really speaking, I never took supps to protect my liver while inebriating myself with substances and alcohol...and that is probably much, much worse than what a steroid is doing to it? I'm a lil' hesitant about milk thistle and other liver protectants because I have always felt that if something is working fine, then obviously there is no real need to protect it.
Now I have NEVER felt this pain I hear people talk about too from using/abusing PH's and/or AAS...and I NEVER felt it while getting blasted on several substances/day for close to a decade either!! But I have always drank a shitton of water, and drinking a shitton of water per day can cleanse your system enough...liver, kidneys, whatever. I'm taking a minimal dose of Liv52 right now...but I only take it when on-cycle, other than that I don't take shit..and I personally don't like milk thistle anyway, I heard it interferes with your androgen receptors.

TronI take 2 175mg milk thistle pills a day and 2 liver aids by liverite. I was having some liver pain a couple months ago when I started taking these and since then have had zero to no pain. Guess they are doing something right.
AnonYall lookup Aegis Liver Protection. There are some forums on milk thistle effecting androgen levels in orals by somethin like 20%...cant quite remember. The supposed best for liver care, protection and regeneration is TUDCA/UDCA which is in Aegis
I have heard the same about milk thistle...I honestly never used to use anything and I am fine, but I began taking Liv52DS not too long ago. Milk thistle tends to make me(or others?) retain water too...that's why I don't like it.
I'll have to look this up cuz right now I'm trying the powder and it tastes like satan's balls. How's the taste with Aegis?
I use milk thistle and liv 52. Year round I only have one liver and I was not very nice to it in my younger years.
samick94i do the same. with some dandelion root to help water retention and liver function. and yup you only have one liver once that's done your done
Anonnever used it. milk thistle is what i use. but, i haven't ever checked my enzyme levels, so i don't really have a dog in this fight..
samick94milk-T is what i started using but it didnt cut it on heavy compounds or strong meth, PHs. i personally only fucked with two pro hormones cuz i didnt want to juice. i realized i would have been better off on juice rather then those pieces of trash. but i had friends who got jaundice and liv 52 cleared it up and got their livers back to normal. but i feel like when i am on strong compounds the liv52 could work a little better. so i am looking for something better or maybe i should just bump the dose on my liv 52??
I like 52. You need to dose it 3-4tabs x3 times a day when on juice. My liver values are pretty good. Shits cheap when you buy bulk 10+ bottles. I use it year round drop off cyle to 2 times a day. Lots of clinical studies it works.
Do you use the DS or the regular version of 52?

I use the regular 195mg tab. 3tabs x3 times a day on cycle. DS same thing but 390mg a tab. If you over 200lbs then 4 tabs 3 times a day or 2DS 3 times a day.
I've only been taking TWO DS/day. One in the morning and one in the evening. I'm around 235lbs...guess I should bump that up.
Want to add if I'm taking an oral in my cycle with oils its 3x3 a day. If running just oils 2x 3 a day. For your weight add a tab to the dose.
Made a mistake it's 275mg a tab for the regular and 550 for the DS. I'm under 200lbs but for you I would do 2DS 3x's a day when your on cycle. It's all I use, stuffs good but you have to use the right dose for effect. My bloods show it works. It's cheap. I buy it on ebay 27.00 shipped for 1000 tabs which is 10 bottles.
