Milk thistle: friend or foe?

ad

Are there more pros than cons from taking milk thistle? Would like to know what everyone thinks.

doesnt milk thistle help your liver from toxic tablets like danabols, anapolons

Absolutely it will but it also will restrict your gains on cycle. But if that's all u can get take it cuz liver is nothing to mess with. Check this post out as well has little info on a substitute http://www.eroids.com/forum/training-nutrition-diet/supplements/tudcaudc...

I keep reading bad things as well. It prevents your liver from actually doing its job which is protecting us. I'm still reserching. I'll report back

Basically Milk Thistle can prevent the androgen receptor, that already contains the androgen (in the study I read it was testosterone), from entering the nucleus of a cell. This renders it useless. It may not be a huge difference, but it can be some. Tudca is supposedly the best, but also the priciest...

I am not sure what the cons are but when I have done a cycle it helped with the acne big time. I also took evening primrose oil. I am sure there is a guru on here that will know a hell of a lot more then me but I could tell a difference and I am really not into the natural supplements. FYI I took the pills four times a day after each meal. Wish I could tell you a great brand but I just took Spring valley.

Thanks for the info. I also took it on my first prohormone cycle a while back but did some reading on how it affects the androgen receptors. So I went with tudca/udca which actually had lots of studies done on them saying it actually reversed liver damage. but was curious if milk thistle really did affect receptors in a negative way or if it was just a myth.
