+ 6 Superhero?

ad

So yesterday I'm at a concert right. It's hot as fuck and the stupid fucking morons said no outside food or drink! Just letn you all know I don't consider myself big by any means. But anyways me n my ol lady are sitting in the shade trying to escape the heat when I see a mother carrying her young daughter in her arms screaming! Her daughter was unconscious with sweat running down her face straight heat stroke right. The mom could barely carry her so I immediately jumped up and took off my shirt (any chance I get I know I know) and threw it at my old lady and said to dump our cold water on it and I ran over there and threw it on the girls head and took the child from the mom(with consent) and booked it to the first medic station. The girl had a temp of 106.6!!! So she was on the verge of brain damage. She ended up getn taken to the hospital and idk from there what happened. But since I was the biggest person in the crowd I immediately felt responsible to be the one to help cuz of my position to carry this girl a long distance at a faster pace than anyone else. Anyone else have an experience like this? Where your strength played a roll in an outcome of a situation? Made me feel like a superhero lol.

It kills me that they can have big event like this and not supply running water. I was at a big 3 day concert a couple months back. I saw so many people carried out on stretchers due to heat stroke. But, I guess the $4 a bottle of revenue is their justification.

On a side note, there were some really large people crowd surfing. Like 275 pound people. People were getting crushed. One large guy passed over us and landed on a group of girls. This 100 pound girl was smashed under him. I rushed through the crowd and got him lifted off of her. As I was under him picking the guy up someone blasted me in the nose. I'm sure it was someone I bumped into on the way over there. So I got the guy off the group of girls and there wasn't anyone around to confess to swinging on me. It's crazy how fast people lose their humanity in the mob mentality. Glad to hear you were there for the little girl.

Cheatnnature's picture

Tell me bout it! I can't believe that so done actually felt comfortable risking lives for a couple dollars a bottle of water profit! Good for you on trying to help that girl out. Mobs of humans resemble groups of monkeys. Humans for the most part are extremely primitive still!

you all know I don't consider myself big by any means.

well that's certainly not true you are a big ass dude.

Anyways I got a lot of respect for what you did man. Shows what type of person you are. Saving a young girl. Hopefully the girl is okay. +2

Cheatnnature's picture

Thank you brother! I got to get to that 220lb status with you then i won't be bashful lol.

Theophany's picture

Quick thinking and great job Cheat! Superhero-most definitely, a child's life was saved. You should be proud Smile +1

Cheatnnature's picture

Thank you theo! I'm just glad I was there and I had some cold water on hand!

Darktide's picture

That was quick thinking young brother about bringing her temperature down! I once carried a 200lb + wounded man 1.5 klicks and all he said to me after was "you crushed my balls you bastard" Lmao! So no hero there Smile

Cheatnnature's picture

+1for being a badass and doing a superhuman action.

Darktide's picture

Thank you brother but it was really just doing what we are trained to do. That is what makes the difference when someone who is not obligated or trained steps up, that is heroic to me. What we do in the field it is our job everyone else hypes it up but those on the indie know better.

You being aware and unselfish to not just sit on your ass and enjoy the show getting up and reacting to a strangers needs that is heroic stuff to me Smile

Cheatnnature's picture

Thanks boss! I saw the sweat pouring off her head and instantly my brain thought of how the body shuts down in heat stroke and I somehow thought of my ice cold water on my shirt around her head to keep the brain cool in a split second. But holy shit! 200lbs 1.5 clicks! I would love to see a crossfit master do that lol. But damn..."you crushed my balls bastard" lmfao! All he was thinking bout was his manhood haha.

Darktide's picture

We still talk about that line to this day! He still gives me shit about it too lol.

OmNom's picture

Clearly you should be more gracious when saving someones life.. maybe cup his balls next time? LOLOL!!

Darktide's picture

Lmao! Believe me I can't even begin to remember all the ball jokes about that scenario that came out of our platoon:)

Cheatnnature's picture

Thank you d!

Cheatnnature's picture

The mother was extremely grateful n got a couple pats on the back :-). In the end as long as she gets to live another day I'm happy!

robb's picture

Good on you bro!!!

In a promo × 1
Cheatnnature's picture

Thank you robb! Just hope that kid is ok. The mom thanked me n hopped in the ambulance and have no idea the outcome. She should be ok.

Pale's picture

Good call brother +1.

Cheatnnature's picture

Thank you pirate. I just had to share the experience with my eroids family and hopefully inspire some people to do the right thing in a situation.

Cheatnnature's picture

Very true! I would have helped even if I was 4ft 2 and 80lbs. Just the person I am. I was just glad that I was there to help that poor last and her child. It disgusts me how people can stand by n watch. I just remember thinikng I can carry that girl miles at a full paced jog and I need to get in there stat to get her to safety.

OmNom's picture

I think you are right most people flounder out when something happens.. it's like their brain shuts off and they go hide in the corner =[

OmNom's picture

Well I like that we don't have a bunch of key board warriors around here.. most of you are honest and give unbiased opinions and answers when topics like this come up.. try going on youtube with this story and see how many troll warriors you get lmao

Cheatnnature's picture

That's one thing that kept me on this site. Most of the members here are shirt off there back types and have passion for a better quality life for themselves and all others around them.

OmNom's picture

There was a fight some time ago I was asked to break up at an apt complex in a diff apt by one of the fighters roommates..(He was a little shorter but thought I should break it up.. I don't consider myself huge either).. The first time the guys said they would quit and I was very nice about it, patted them on the shoulder.. cracked some jokes attempting to lighten the mood.. I told them I wanted to have a nice night and did not want any cops to spoil the night for any one.. I walked away and continued my night with friends.. A few mins pass and these fuckers are at it again.. and this time I can hear someone screaming "helppp!" So in a similar fashion I run up some stairs pulling my jacket off which I was later told by every one looked like a hero dramatically throwing off their shirt .. In my mind it was a nice jacket and I didn't want to fuck it up.. Any ways on my way up there they are scuffling and they had rolled off the little guy (That's right two big guys had rolled over the little guy like he wasn't even there.. I was holding back laughter) I turn to see another guy trying to break them up but he's pulling on the shirt telling them to stop.. I think to myself what the fuck is that going to do.. I grab each of them by the throat tightly and put them both on the ground and use the most commanding voice I can muster to tell them to calm the fuck down.. I would be lying if I said their response wasn't a huge ego inflation.. They looked absolutely terrified.. both raised their hands like I'm a fucking cop and beg me to not hurt them.. (I really never planned to hurt any one I just wanted to scare them to stop the fight but I was prepared for a fight if their drunk asses tried me) Honestly I haven't been in a fight in years because most of them end this way so I sometimes doubt my ability because I think I am probably rusty from no action.. But I'm told it is the way I carry myself when push comes to shove and not just muscle that scares the shit out of people.. Not much of a "hero" story but that's the only recent thing that happened where my strength played a role

Cheatnnature's picture

Good for you bro! I will avoid a fight anyday of the week cuz they are not worth it. Only if a friend or family member is in need than it is game over. But in your instance I would have done the EXACT same thing! I just remember thinking I need to get something cold on this girls brain before she loses it. Sucks cuz I destroyed my nice ass new buckle shirt lol but her brain was worth much much more. Too bad that 90% of our worlds population will stand by and not do a damn thing. They actually did studies on situations like this and 1 out of 10 people will actually stand up and excel.

OmNom's picture

Oh the girls brains is much more important.. I was just bashing two idiots heads together and that was most recent plus your description of pulling the shirt off reminded me of it.. I have had a few life or death situations with friends, family and even random ass people off the street and in every occasion my material items never meant a damn thing.. Go buy yourself an even nicer buckle shirt.. these are the times when I believe it is okay to spoil yourself a little.. adrenaline situations like that can be taxing on the nerves sometimes.. I bet you slept a lot longer the next day lmao

Cheatnnature's picture

Lol ill bet you looked like a wolverine beast or something throwing off your jacket and choking out two full grown apes haha! But ya I could careless bout the shirt in that situation or anything I owned in that sit. But if some drunk spelt beer all over while I'm just chilling then I'm getn pissed lol. Or if I'm breaking up a drunken fight I'm saving my good clothes lol. And I def slept like a proud man lol.

OmNom's picture

You should be proud. You changed their life.. idk if you've ever had a family member die.. sibling or parent but it is terrible.. You really made a difference for that family so feel good knowing that.. When that girl grows up she will still prlly remember you.. shit she will prlly be telling her children about you

Cheatnnature's picture

I didn't even think bout it. She prolly will :-). O ya +1 for doing the right thing and keeping those idiots from hurting themselves!

OmNom's picture

lol no need to +1 me I just wanted to share something since you asked for others exp.. I've got some funnier stories and sadder ones.. this was just the most recent.

Stay confident in the fact you now know for sure you will react quickly in a time of crisis.. you may very well be put to the test in the future and there are way to many sheep in this day and age that will sit around just to watch when these things happen

4speed's picture

it happen to me and my friend couple years ago when woman in car stuck her car between lamp post and wall so she cant go out, that moment she was screaming so me and my friend jump to help (other people just walk and point fingers on whole accident) we grab front of car and both lift/push again and again till we had clear access to door. its amazing how this kind of situations can peak your power to point you feel like superhero :-)

Cheatnnature's picture

Great job bro! Lucky for her you guys were there! It's amazing what humans can do and even more amazing what they won't do! Can't believe people were just staring and pointing.

4speed's picture

thanks man, yes sometime people just pass or close eyes if something like this happen

thumb up for you man, your action save child's life. im glad nearly all the time are around us people like you, who willing to help ''just because'' (its saying from where i came from)
