When they ask you have you every used drugs in the last 10 years
you answer should be yes then they will say what kind of drugs you say alcohol, than the will ask you have you done any other drugs other than alcohol you say no---
By doing this, you have settled into the question, and you already said yes---in your brain that fires neurons to increase your heart rate will not fire because you have already said yes.
In the military we would use things like this to see if we could pass a poly... your answers are not the key to getting you to fail its how the questions are asked.

I went through the process but failed the poly. They didnt ask if i specifically took any AAS but did ask about drugs. I did tell them the truth because, of course, i was afraid of failing from lying. I think the fact that it was within the past 10 yrs that was not what they wanted to hear. Then again, i dont know. I also heard from other fellow cop friends if u mention the white powder they'd pass u by...Makes me sick to this day i didnt get thru! Did the written test, passed; did physical test, smoked all them "boyz" outta the watta; did the board interview, passed; poly.... :( failed.
