Estrogen levels when coming off
ad
Ive been battling some acne problems lately. Ive just recently come off of a 12 week blast of prop and npp. I had slight acne from time to time on cycle, but when i went back to cruise mode...wow, the acne was awful. Im wondering something. Do estrogen levels fall off at the same rate of speed as androgen levels when we are coming off? Because i cut down my dosage of aromasin as my test levels were falling off but im not so sure that was the right thing to do. Can anyone help me to understand how this works?

AnonAgreed.
tread-mYou can incorporate your AI low dose anytime but its nice to know what's going on through bloods. The best thing you can do when you run into these issue is to grab up some bloods. Particularly early on they will help you roadmap for the future. So as you do what you did in dropping AI down and the breakout comes on. If you were to grab up some quick bloods you would know exactly what is going on based on that bloodwork and then begin your roadmap based on your use of the test and AI and the response you are getting. So then in a future run you begin to correct that and maybe you breakout just a bit and run bloods again and see how close you got in use. Obviously every cycle is different and likely different compounds and different challenges for the body and homeostasis but the point is, as you learn your bodies responses and are able to see the bloods and correct the negatives those roadmaps give you the power to make better decisions. Not just in the acne dept but in many ways with your overall "balance". I am in a place now where I can still have this mega breakout just over night but just with simple AI use and good water intake and more salt reduction I seem to be able to bring it under control very quick. Case in point, had some tweaks in cycle about 2 weeks ago and boom, felt off within a couple days and broke out like crazy back and shoulders. Took the AI to ed 6.25 and increased water intake at the same time and they changed over night almost. Back and shoulders were getting dry in 2 days and now almost completely gone and pulling the AI back to eod to see if the balance has occured and I'm all good. Variables will change even with hotter weather or activity in addition to food and caloric intake, fat intake, so much to think about you just have to learn your "personal" control methods. The only way you do that is through bloods and trial and error over time. We do kinda build this chart type protocol for us individually but you have to be willing to change that on a dime based on the varibales. You may have something that works great for you all the time and then some serious stress comes into your life and that alone blows cortisol levels up and from there is cause and effect, every action has a reaction and there goes the whole hormone pool into an out of balance state. So you do your best but knowledge is power and what you are doing here and bloods will give you power eventually. I would literally do bloods every week if it were affordable or something I could do at home. Given that's not practical then you do them as often as you can. The key is to not have any recent change before you do them as well. You would not want to change your AI today for example and then do bloods Tuesday. That does not give you power since you don't know what caused the bloods to have their current reading. So let's say you break out and have your AI at 6.25 eod. As long as you can have it there for say a week, you can go in and know the estrdial level will be the result of the work. Same with test, its hard to drop prop and gets bloods in three days. Were the current levels the result of the run or the drop or half and half. Hard to learn anything from that. So the stability in compound use going into bllods is key too. Gives you markers and actual reference rather than more questions than answers. Its a pain in this ass brother is the simple of it, you just have to gain the power throughloods and changes and new bloods and changes etc. Before long you have tools to really take control of your situations. You will still miss the mark some, that's life in a complicated body but more control I guess is the idea. I suspect you increase the AI a bit and see change here with all the other good habits. Change btw is the constant so control is a relative term so looking to control "within a range" is the whole idea. Perfection is not possible even if you could do daily bloods and control is open to failure so we mange failure in a way that we have more success and that may be the best we can do. It really is "controlled chaos" when you think about it so I won't pretend to have mastered it! Lol
I just went through an extream fit of acne do to my supplier being 40 days late on my order I was told 2 Weeks ended up taking 5 Weeks so i didnt start pct and AI worst mistake ever It looks nasty and all the work I put in I couldn't take my shirt off at the beach. I know betterthen to fuck with the cycle. My advice is to do your reaserch. And learn from it. If u don't get any better get your blood done and don't start againtill u get ur body back to normal.
AnonThat's why you plan your cycle before you start it.
AnonI know he dropped his AI down. I was explaining it to him in a general sense since he asked someone to explain how these things work.
Although I disagree with you on the drop in hormone levels causing the acne. I think the unbalance is probably what caused it not the drop.
AnonTest turns into estrogen. If you dropped your AI down while your test levels were just going down you didn't let your estrogen levels come down and stabilize. You should have waited until your test and estrogen levels stabilized before dropping the AI down.
You can sort of think of testosterone like an estered estrogen. If you have stable test and estrogen levels and while your test levels are coming down your estrogen levels are still going to stay high for a while and if you drop your AI they're going to rise even higher than they were before.
If you do a 12 week cycle of Test E during week 13 and 14 you're still going to have that testosterone. Well just like that after your test levels start to go down your estrogen levels are going to stay higher for a little while.
Aromatization is the process by which the body converts aas or testosterone into estrogen. Thing thing about your body that is amazing in it's own right is the love your body has for homeostasis. The checks and balances it has for the systems that are running in ur body. When one is slacking in performance one of the other systems steps in to pick up the slack. When homeostasis is thrown out of whack you see sides like bloat and acne and mood swings/depression. Believe me I've had every single one of those bro. It's nothing new in this game. The key to keeping homeostasis is easy. Ancillary drugs. I wish more guys would spend time researching ancillaries as much as they do aas or diet. Ai's and PCT drugs are honestly equally as important as good gear and good diet. When a guy uses AAS for long periods and consecutive runs(yes cruising is a run too) the body can only handle so much Test or androgen to be more specific before it start converting it to estrogen through the aromatization process. Using aromasin for long term use is something that I actually need to read a bit more on. Dosage is key I feel for long term use but I have been on a regimen of Aromasin for 6months straight as of today. My dosage has varied.
To be sure of what is exactly going on in ur body Blood Tests are the only thing that will tell u exactly what is going on. Based of of your E2 levels I'd adjust the aromasin dosage accordingly.
-Bingo....Gs is dead nuts on brother. I keep low dosages of adex in the first few weeks of my cruise and my breakouts have been not near as bad.
-I actually did a blast with the same prop/npp cocktail and at the end of blast,as my test levels stair-cased downward, my acne was popping up like mad until I pulled my E2 in check. Kind of a guessing game without bloods, but gauge AI dosage not only on bloat but acne as well. Works for me.
UFOWell I guess its different for thos that PCT and those that cruise. For me, a few days after PCT (clomid/Novla) My test levels were back to 750 but my estro levels were at 144 so I def should have continued taking an AI.
I havent had bad acne so far (fingers crossed). Fluctuations in hormones can cause it.
