Question about running Test Enanthate - or Cyp as TRT - sense of well being
Hi - I'm new to all this. I have never run a real testosterone cycle. I have read that there is a real sense of well being a person experiences while cruizing on TRT @ like 200 - 250 mg/test a week. Is this true? I'd really like to hear from some contributors on this board.
I'm 44 years old and have been on real light TRT - Androgel 1.62 for 3 weeks now. Just 2 pumps a day but I can feel it. My test is 475 ng/dl and my free test is 38 pg/ml which I know is a bit on the lower side. I was having trouble recovering from a couple shoulder surgeries (over the last 20 months) so on my suggestion my Dr sent me to someone to get all bloods done to see if my test levels were low. I was also seeing other signs of low test - general low grade depression and general malaize or just no motivation to train and all that. That's just way unlike me - I've been training for like 29 years (as a natural) and into martial arts and surfing (and basically anything I could do outdoors). I'm also running a anavar cycle (along with the TRT)in an attempt to get my shoulder strength back - and generally my overall mojo - I'm in a bad position -currently can't raise my arm above shoulder level - and have a severely degerated knee (8 surgeries on that) and can't run. Issue is I'm not ready to just stop doing things and sit around like my body is telling me to do.
What I'm trying to figure out here is would it we worth my while to try to get the Dr to get me on something serious (like 100 - 250 mg a week), not just for the obvious benefits like more muscle mass, but for the quality of life that comes with enhansed sense of well being that comes with additional testosterone.
I have a feeling that the Dr isn't going to see it my way and it may boil down to me just pinning 2x a week with UGL Test as TRT support. Basically cruizing and ruiing a few cyces of orals 2 -3 x a year.
I'd really like to hear about others experiences with this. Thx in advance for all your replies.
thx, Rick

Everyone's different. Im your age and I feel great on 350-500mgs of test a week. I like to throw in tren or deca along with it usually, and for you I would really consider the deca, as I have overcome severe joint pain with it using for half a year. I really don't believe in the cruising methodology unless you're running out of material, and I never use orals anymore.
Thx for the reply johnny - that exactly what I need is something to help out the joints. The only thing with deca is the bloated - bloofyness that sometimes comes with it. I'm trying to stay as light as I can any facilitate strength and healing. I was thinking a good plan to start on would be 250 ml test e. and 125 mg deca per week spread over 2 weekly shots along with Adex to control the estrogen and water retention. I have read that from several sources that deca helps with the joint healing.
I say try it. Reevaluate after 6 to 8 weeks. We used to all agree that deca helped retain fluid in skeletal joints. Which is why I ran it mostly. Anyway good luck brother!
Also - how much deca did you run per week? thx again!
Hey Johnny - another question for you. Did the Deca make you retain water - like did it bloat you? What would you think of running NpP for joint water/lube instead of the deca?
Thx Man!
Cyp lasts just a lil longer than enanthate. Believe it was two days longer so they're fairly similar.
What type of injuries? Have you gotten an m.r.I.?
Now keep in mind I'm not looking for sympathy here. I tore 3 of the 4 attachment points of the rotator cuff - only one left intact was the terres minor. Had a 3 surgeries to get them fixed. Last surgery was a lattissimus dorsi transfer - it's a salvage procedure where they spit the lat and attach part of it to the humeral head of the upper arm - it's a substitute due to the fact that I no longer have enough rotator cuff remaining to provide complete coverage of the humeral head. Then thru bio-feedback training you re-educate the lat to act like a rotator cuff and get that overhead active range of motion. That's whjat I don't have. The Dr and surgery took place @ the hospital for special surgery in NY, NY. My last visit to him was 6 months post op and he said the surgery was a failure. I can't accept that so I proposed using some hormones to facilitate healing. It's wondrful - Dr's can go in and sew muscles and ligaments back together but they know almost nothing about healing.
I got in with another Dr who specializes in healing mechanisims of the body and she got me in for the blood work and got me on the TRT. The knee had the 1st surgery back in '99 to fix the ACL. After that it just started to degenerate - 4 microfracture surgeries to fix some degeneration - a staff infection - a couple clean outs. The knee is shot and ready for replacement but I can't do that cause when you do go get the replacement it's all over - you are permenatly limited by the hardware.
As you can see I'm in a bit of a situation here. All i'm trying to do is get my arm working so I can work out effectively, throw a ball and surf. I'm looking to testosterone to get me there. If it won't get me back 100% I'm looking to see how far back I can get and for that renewed positive outlook on life and sense of well being.
No1Yes the injections will have you in a higher range of test
That was deep bro, deep
