Acne Treatment
I’m quite lucky in that I don’t get much acne although it can get triggered off by prop. Since I have gone back on test e I have only had very minor breakouts. The downside though is when I do get it often the spots become cystic. I can tell almost immediately if a spot is going to become cystic just by the feel and look of it. Recently on my travels I picked up some Prociderm (active ingredient Mupirocin). As soon as a spot/spots start to develop I apply it. Virtually by the next day the spot has gone. For me it has been extremely effective.
Please note that it recommended the Mupirocin should not be used for extended periods of time. I use it in a very localised fashion applying just where it is needed and not spreading it around. Its quick action means I don’t have to use it for long.

Nice thread. I'm an oil slick on prop, been using tea tree oil with some success, bathing with Sacyclic acid scrub and hoping to avoid oral antibiotics. Are the topical antibiotics available anywhere? Next try is bodybuilders wash.
There is a cream at the Dollar Store (U.S.) named Acne Cream which is pretty decent, and for a dollar...youcan't beat that. The other solution (more expensive but good) is the bodybuilders wash. Good smell and effective.
By any chance do you remember the active strength of the mupirocin. All I can seem to find is 2%

AnonI took micocycline during last cycle, started @ 100mg a day about a week before pinning. Had less shoulder/back blackheads than I do off cycle usually.
After acne was gone altogether, I dropped to 50mg a day (continued through PCT) which is below Rx recommendations - and it still didn't come back. Was a test only cycle @ 500mg a week roughly though.
Went to 50mg EOD for 2 weeks or so after PCT to avoid the acne rebound that can happen when you abruptly drop an antibiotic. No real science to back that up but I tried it and it worked lol.
minocycline > tetracycline for acne treatment, but it's important to note antibiotics are toxic and shouldn't be taken lightly especially when mixed with gear. Also something I almost never hear about for some unexplainable reason as it is a TREMENDOUS help to our body.... Consider taking a pro-biotic after you finish up any antibiotic regimen.
Also I always took it with food to avoid appetite decrease even though it supposedly lessens the effect.
A side note about accutane... I'm a pharmacy tech and we hate accutane at my store... Dermatologists throw it at everyone with a pimple without even thinking - yet it's been known (seen it myself) to cause some CRAZY side effects you would never even think possible, so IMO unless you have severe nodular acne - stay away! Antibiotics aren't good for you but tretinoin products are on another level, research for yourself eroiders.

I would avoid it if taking any orals.. I take it on my injectable only cycles but only at a low maintenance dose.
I use benzamycin, been a pretty effective topical for me also.
There are other antibiotics that are also effective...doxycycline, minocycline...just not wise to stay on long term.
