An observation about gear doses and baseline Test

ad

Not sure how to phrase this, but it seems like everyone is taking a ton of juice.
I only used gear once, that was 9 years ago. When I started working out I was 5'10" and 128 lbs with winter clothes on. I was too embarrassed to weigh myself without clothes. I decided to change things and got a trainer at a gym that needed some computer work done. I changed everything in my life and got to 154 lbs, 9% fat, then I was stuck there for 3 months, had cut cardio. I went to my Dr and had my blood work done. My test was low. 280 range at 34 years old. I procured some EQ and test p, then my dr started giving me 200mg week test cyp (I did have a some gyno, think the Dr cut me off when I started yelling at his assistant for not understanding nova could be used for that). I was only on the test cyp for 5 weeks. I front loaded the EQ at 400mg week for first two weeks, then down to 300mg week split into eod with a small amount of test prop. Less than 300mg a week of test prop. Within 10 weeks I was at 168lbs and 14% BF. It was supposed to be a 14 week cycle but I broke a bone. I went into PCT right away. To my surprise I was still at 166 lbs two months later and body fat was 14%. I hadn't done shit but eat pills and sit on a couch.
My theory about how I had so much success using the relatively small amount of gear I read about people using these days comes from two areas. One, it was stronger. I don't think that is the case. I suspect that since I had naturally low levels of T that gear worked that much stronger on me.
Hear I am 8 years later, and that much older. Natural test is even lower.

I've already purchased Primo and Test Prop. I'll be picking up some Test E (and keeping it on hand for general HRT if my Dr won't give me weekly Test cyp). Planning on a 12 week cycle, might settle for the 330 mg week of Primo just to see if this is the case, or I'll get another vial of Primo and make it a 14 week cycle at a higher dose (or 12 at 500). Also toying with the idea of front-loading Primo acetate the first two weeks to make it a 12 week cycle with a stronger start. Don't think I will try that, but it is an idea.

I'm not really experienced with gear, and appreciate the comments I have been given here. I have already purchased the Primo, so I'm going to go ahead and use it. I'll write what the results are, even if they are not exciting. I'm kind of hoping since my natural levels are low, I get natures discount and the expensive Primo goes further. I'm not doing it to be defiant, I have the financial investment, and only interested in solid muscle.

Anyone else think this line of thought is logical? How many of the naturally 1100+ test people need a much higher bump to get a similar gain to what I got? My gains weren't off the chart by any means, but it seems most people would be happy to get that kind of gain off of a simple EQ / Test stack with only 10 weeks - much too short but that was my goal as far as weight goes, wanted less fat.
gotta run, better half is here

google the word testosterone and have a read .. it says test is dose dependent! in other words the more you take the bigger you can get!!

There are diminished returns at higher doses and higher doses tend to have higher side effects.
Gains on lower doses are retained better.
Slow and steady with a focus on training and diet should be your focus; sometimes less is more.

true the higher the dose the higher the sides... please explain why you think
gains on lower doses are easier to retain?
of course everyones focus should be on diet and training...
less is more.... sorry bro i dont agree... now dont get me wrong i am not
going to tell someone on there first cycle to bang 1000mg of test
they have to work there way up to that... look i am not here to say i know for a fact more is better and im right ye are wrong... it just been my experience with gear, and loads of other people i know... and i red lots of articles about it...

By ratio the gains are apt to be better quality based on your training and not "enlarged cells" based on the gear. So you will tend to keep more when you're off cycle.

Also, dosage gains are a bell curve; true you'll see more at higher doses but the percent gained at the higher dose is far less then at lower or moderate doses. Meaning, for example, you'll get more bang for your buck if you do two 600mg/wk cycles v one 1200mg/wk cycle.

ya tell it to the pros!.... look i can say this you can say that
but at the end of the day neither of us have facts! to back up our statements...

Suite yourself but I think you'd be best served to google "best steroid dose".
Or PM me and I'll send you links to a half dozen PDF books on steroids.

Given the following situation: two twins, both lifting for 20 years. one of them has been doing 500mg test cycles for 10 years. the second has never touched non-indigenous test. they are both then given a cycle of 800mg test. Bro one weighs more because he has been juicing for 10 years, but even if that were not the case, comparing bro one and bro two at the end of the cycle, would you expect bro 2 to have had a greater increase because bro 2 was new to external stimulation?

spudlk's picture

i am just telling you what i have read about test... thats a strange comparison
of course bro 1 is going to have more muscle he has a 10 year head start haha
now lets say the 2 bros never took gear and you start them both on a cycle of test e.. bro 1 takes 500mg p/w, and bro 2 takes 800mg p/w... 12 week cycle ....
both of them have a very good diet and both train hard..
bro 2 would have more muscle mass.... no doubt

its called genetic potential!

i like to take it slow and steady...build up to my optimum dose cause it allows me to build good quality gains without the sides ruining my damn cycle plus it allows me to stay on alot longer...o and hcg keeps by balls on point and keeps me from getting that burnt-out feeling..but hey thats me..

Yup, there are too many variables outside of the anabolics. Diet, training etc. On any given day I can walk into the gym and share my training tricks with people and I find that they are all followers and need to be told and reminded on form and the muscle they are working. When they tell you there philosophy of training they have nothing to back it up. Reason being, its something they where told and did not discover themselves. Same foes for diet, people say yea I'm gonna start bulking. I then ask them what there plan is and soon discover that they don't have a plan. People tell me they plan to.go on a diet, I ask what there plan is, most but not all the time they have none.
