Best Ways To Keep Gains

Running my first cycle - prop /test e/deca - Just wanted to get some advice on keeping gains after my cycle. I understand that some will be lost,mostly water retained.. But anyone have any GOOD advice on how to keep those hard earned gains? I would love to hear about it.Thanks bro's! -YES I UNDERSTAND THAT PROP CAN BE RAN E/D - ORRRRR E/O/D . FUCKBAG!

You are correct in saying that I haven't done my homework on deca. It was suggested by a friend of mine, who is a body builder. I just don'tunderstand why he would suggest deca, if it is not good for me at this point. I did a little research and I found out that most people tend to see sides come on between week 5-6 of their cycle. I can get caber, I'm just sitting here wondering why NOT to run the deca. I'm not 17y/o, and still growing.. I'm 31. and I think it's a good addition to the cycle at a low dose,and will help ease joint pain.Am I the only guy to ever do his 1st inj. cycle with test e and deca? really? I appreciate good advice and recognize your suggestion to stop the deca to be a good suggestion, being that this is my first " at bat".. But is it really that big of a deal? I'm already in the pool swimming bro..

It's best to do one cycle with one compound so you can discern how you react to it. It's part of the educational process and takes discipline. You should ask yourself if you'll be disciplined enough to run proper cycles and PCT down the road if you can't wait to jump into a multi-compound cycle.
Think of it as the "wax on; wax off" phase of your training.
I'm not taking crazy high doses .. 500 test e 250 deca. LOL.
You know what, I'd be stupid NOT to heed your warnings. As of today I am dropping the deca. I will stick with the test p/ e and save the deca for down the road. I appologize for questioning you guys, I just want to get big. I realize that there is a certain protocol here, that I should follow. It appears that I am skipping steps, which will lead to less overall gains, and MORE PROBLEMS THAN I PROBABLY KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH, instead of bigger gains, and that is NOT what I want. I want to do this right . Thanks for the advice raider. Is there anything else I should do to modify my cycle that you are aware of? or keep it as is - 500/wk test e, and 300/wk prop for first 4-5 weeks? only thing i would add to what has already been said is to run hcg the whole cycle so your balls wont atrophy so recovery and retaining muscle will be better
tread-mAs has been said, proper gains are the very first part of the answer. If you don't have proper gains you will have a tough time period. A very effective pct period where you may want to lift heavy with less reps and try to get out of the gym rather than burn up while rebooting natty. Proper diet post cycle eating big on meat continuing quality and I say you do fine. Part of proper gains may include running adex or aromasin part or all of the run but I don't have stats to work with so can't really offer you anything. Carn put it best, you are jumping in with more than one compound which means those who start with one and add one per will have an advantage over you in that they know specifically what each compound is doing and don't have as much guess work. You will find you need more compounds as time goes on to achieve similar things others might do on less compounds if you don't slow up and be the turtle here brother. Your cycle will likely be a success unless estrogen blows up with shbg and there are prolactin issues and it goes full blown fail blog on you. Again, slow roll allows you to learn compounds and your personal reactions. At least know the proper things to run with and have caber on hand in case this goes wrong. I want your success as much as anyone here just want you to know whats happening and why and this will simply have to involve guess work. Keep us posted on your roll...

WOW TREAD, THANKS. I really appreciate your advice here. I didn't feel like I was jumping in "over my head" really until reading this. I have ran orals before, but you ar4e correct in saying this is my very 1st inj. cycle. So will there be DEFINATE ISSUES as far as estrogen build up etc. ? 3rd set of inj. today bro, would these sides have shown their ugly face by now? I could easily drop the deca right now, I just really didn't see it as a huge threat. # second guessing myself now :/ I appreciate any and all advice given here. I am proud to be a part of the eroids community, and would like to be here for a looong time. & move as slowly as possible - I understand slow and steady wins the race everytime.. Sometimes I jump the gun, and get carried away with thoughts, goals, etc. What can I say? : (

Yep cant beat those answers... a really good diet w lots of protein and staying consistant in the gym killing the big weight and proper pct. I found the better you do on your diet the better the quality gains.
Keep hitting the gym and keep your protein intake up and you should do fine.
Thats a heavy first cycle either way diet is key to retaining gains proper pct is a big factor as well
