Adding manufacturers when submitting products

PM being down figured I'd ask here.
When submitting a Product, and the manufacturer is not in the list it says: "Select Manufacturer from AutoComplete list or add your own."
How do you add your own?
Same question regarding active substances?
Just want to get the info as accurate as possible.

The other was for street name, not active substance. I used T400 on the Thyronorm I just posted, closest I could find. I guess the T400 is the really potent T4 :-)
