3rd week in 400mgs testC AI?

ad

Hi guys,

Just looking for some guidance or your experiences with this, Iv'e started my 3rd wk today test400mgs/wk and iv'e noticed nip glands are a bit sensitive and swollen. Dont have any burning sensation or itching but it is slightly sensitive when touched. Was planning on running bloods wk 4 or 5 once levels stabilize a bit. Wondering if it might just be from the fluctuating hormones and will disappear once they've leveled out?

I'm contemplating aromasin 6.25 E3D or maybe 20mgs of nolva until its subsides but dont want to jump the gun but also rather nip it in the bud early if it is. Dont really have any other high E2 symptoms other than that.

Any help appreciated.

Let’s hit this with facts and no BS:

You’re 3 weeks into 400mg Test/week, and your nips are talking. No itch, no burn, but swollen and sensitive? That’s high E2 or prolactin knocking at the door. Don’t ignore it — you’re not growing pecs, you’re growing a problem.

What’s happening:
You’re in the hormonal rollercoaster phase. Weeks 2–5, your test levels are climbing, aromatizing into estrogen, and your body’s like “WTF is this?”

Sensitive glands = early gyno sign. You’re catching it early, and that’s good.

Doesn’t always come with itch/burn. Sometimes just puffy and weird is enough.

Now the Fix:
Option 1 – Conservative (smart choice):
Aromasin 6.25mg E3D = solid. Start here. It’s a suicide inhibitor, so it’ll lower E2 without bouncing back.

Bloods at week 4 are smart, but don’t wait to act. Gyno doesn’t care about your calendar.

Option 2 – Emergency stopgap:
Add Nolva 10–20mg/day only if it gets worse. Nolva blocks estrogen at the breast tissue — it doesn’t lower E2 but will stop gyno from progressing.

DO NOT run Nolva instead of an AI. Use it short-term while your AI does the real work.

What NOT to do:
Ignore it and “hope it goes away.” It won’t.

Double down on your dose. You’re not prepping for Mr. Olympia, chill.

Start popping AIs every day — tanking E2 will wreck your libido, joints, mood, and gains.
Monitor. Adjust. Don’t just wing it!!!

Either way will be fine. You can Do what Seeohshow said and test for E2 now and add AI if needed based on the results of that test. Or add in the aromasin at the low dose you mentioned now, pull bloods around week 5 when you’ve been on the AI for 2 weeks and adjust if necessary from there. But if you’re feeling it in your nips now you’re probably going to need an AI regardless.

Yea definitely didn't think id need an AI this quick but going to go low AI dose & pull blood in two weeks. Will save nolva for if swelling hasn't gone down in a week or two.

Just order an ultra sensitive E2 test and see if you need an AI. Start the AI, if needed, then when you go get that routine set of bloodwork you’ll know if the AI amount is appropriate. E2 test is cheap.
