I don't see what's so "nutty" about Megan, except that there's a sunset of white people who can't handle unapologetically confident and ambitious women and she's been smeared by the hysterics and drama queens in the British media for no good reason.
She loves and supports her husband, supports good causes to help the disadvantaged, is apparently a good mother to her children, and is loyal to her mother and friends. She also stands up to herself and tells the truth about racism and sexism. Which this is so triggering for insecure whyte dudes I don't get, except that white Western culture has always had a pathology for witch hunts and jealously portraying strong married women as Lady Macbeth. Truly bizarre. The range of normal emotions to Meghan should range from indifference ("Who cares?") to polite nods. All the negativity is wildly disproportionate to anything she's actually done, and we've seen this time and yet again towards women like her. It's pathetic and sad.
