Hey would you guys say 17" biceps is decent cause that's where I stand at the moment I need some 19s at least lol
It's all about where u want to be :-). U want 19's then build them. That's what keeps us moving forward in this lifestyle!
Yea I'll def get to 19s in due time but I was just wondering if 17s were decent
Don't even speak to me unless you have guns the size of Hooolk Hoogans! That's right, chicks can dig the Ultimate Warrior!
What size are his 23-24" I'm 5'6 if I had that big of arms I would fall over same height as flex lewis and he's got a 20" or 21" not even a 22"
Haha I think they were 24 inch pythons, but I could be mistaken! Yes, you and I are about the same height so I think you are good where you are. Then again, I have arms smaller than most people's wrists so don't take my word for it!
Hey girl Holla back
So I'm gonna ask you guys for some advice... My oldest brothers daughter tried to kill herself. She has been having mental health issues for the past 10 years or so and really has just been a shell of who she used to be, in any event, I have not really spoken to him much about mainly Bc I don't know what to say. I asked him how he was holding up but that was really it. I feel really bad that I have not said much, part of me thinks he wants it that way Bc that's the type of person he is, but I still feel like I should ask/say something... It's just they way she tried to do it is so unbelievable that it's hard to put words to anything when I see him, if that makes any sense. The other thing that conflicts me is, if she does pull through, she is going to be disfigured and in pain for the rest of her life, and most likely institutionalized, so what do you pray/hope for?
I'm usually not the kind of guy who would put something like this out there, but I figure you all seem like really decent people, and none of you actually know me so maybe I'll get some good opinions...
Prayers and moments of strength are with you brother. I am not religious but spiritual...ask God for help, for there are many things in life that we can not have power over or control. You will be shown the way by simply asking for guidance in times of despair.
Thanks brother!!
Wow man I'm so sorry to hear about your brother daughter attempted/suicide is a very harsh thing my mother killed her self four years ago and it destroyed me for a good 3 years I got into pills for a lil while stopped training MMA stopped working out for two years I lost so much my dad had died the year before so sitting at 22 I was ruined mentally but there is a hope brother god is good and he keeps each and everyone of us in his memory and if you do pray it will help maybe not in the most obvious way but it can help you and your brother to cope with what's going on and if she does not pull through she will be remembered and there will be a time that you will meet again I just started bible studies in May I would give you some scriptures but I'm just beginning to learn but put faith In the word and all things will fall into place and remember what has happened is satans grasp on the earth psalm 34:18 Isaiah 25:8 revelation 21:3,4 john 3:16
John 17:3 psalm 55:22< is a very good one for you and your brother I hope these scriptures help I tryed my best but bible study is all so new to me and remember prayer always helps even if you can't physically see it I'm so sorry for what your family is going through you will be in my prayers live strong and never be worried to be there for your brother he probably needs you but doesn't like to admit it be there for him and may god be with your family
Thank you for that brother, and I'm very sorry for your losses also
I'm over my losses now it's been hard but right now is about your family and prayer does help keep your head up unforeseen occurrences are hard to deal with sometimes
Yessir they are, the dr's say if she makes it through the first month there is a good chance she will make it, the first month can go either way very quickly they said... Thank you, and thanks to everyone that commented. I really do appreciate it
You hope and pray for strength and peace of mind.. what ever that might be.
It's the whatever that might be part that I'm having trouble figuring out.. Thanks grrl
You can't pick and choose the what might be .. we all have trouble with the might be's in life. That's why you pray for the strength to handle it.
Just call or visit and talk about other things. Don't bring it up. But be around more frequently than normal.
I'm the oldest of four siblings. I am very reserved. I don't share secrets or talk to them about my life very much. So, I can maybe relate to your oldest brother in some regards. What I would want is for my family to be nearby, but at the same time hoping they won't make me talk about it.
I will pray for you and your family, Bigman. If I was God, I wouldn't be listening to me anymore. But I'm guessing God has more patience than I do.
I think he knows we are all thinking about him and there for whatever he needs, but he is 21 years older then me and like you is very reserved keeps his cards close... Thank you os
Here's an idea for you, Mate.
DON'T...SAY...ANYTHING...TO...HIM.
Go to see him. DON'T WAIT TO BE INVITED. Just drop in to see him, with a pack of his favorite beer/coffee/protein shake, (If that's his choice of beverage), take him outside where only you two are together and do the HARDEST thing you can do in a conversation. LISTEN TO HIM.
DON'T agree with him. DON'T hurry the conversation along by speaking small sentences. DON'T even laugh if he cracks a joke. Just SMILE, nod to show him that you are listening, and LISTEN.
He's probably going through his own personal hell right now with his own thoughts of, 'Could I have prevented this?', or, 'Is this my fault?' and is hearing everyone around him giving him advise.
Back in 2004, when my depression got the better of me and I tried to end my own life, the ONE thing I DESPERATELY wanted and needed most of all, was someone to talk to and to listen to me. I KNOW IT NOW, but back then, I didn't. Granted, my past experiences are from his daughters point of view. But having someone to simply listen to your voice, and have someone just listen to you, WITHOUT JUDGING YOU, brings its own tool wrench to your own pressure release valve.
Be prepared, the tears MIGHT flow. The anger MAY rage on like you've never seen before. But IF he's ready to talk, JUST LISTEN TO HIM.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your brother and his daughter at this time, Mate.
I did speak to him today briefly, due to time and place, but it was a good talk. Thanks again brother
AWESOME, Mate.
You commented earlier that your brother is older than you? My response is easy, "If You're Old Enough To Talk, You're Old Enough To Listen".
As you are younger to him, he MAY try to talk to you as if, in his mind, he's trying to give you some life lessons. And that's fair enough. But, without him knowing, he'll still be venting to you and that's all you need him to do so you can listen to him.
And I wouldn't be surprised to read if you come back in a few days/weeks/months, and inform everyone that you and your brother have become much closer because of this issue too.
It just takes time, and A LOT of patience to listen.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours, Mate.
This is true, thanks again for all your input brother!! It truly does mean a lot!!
It's not all juice and iron around here.
We MUST help our own, Mate.
Best regards to you and yours.
excellent advice...
