BarneyFifeMost of us are newer guys and need to learn. I don't think anybody carries a grudge. Some of the rules aren't written. Example,karma whoreing. The rules say you can post one pic a day. That's not true. If I hadn't seen somebody corrected on that I wouldn't have known. Do what you need to. Its a learning process. That's life.

I saw the same "post a pic a day rule" so I posted within the time allowed...then I was told to just add to previous posts of pics now.
OK...then why have the rule then was my first thought?
My second was, well if I want to share Karma with others I am told I have to have 50karma to do so.
Make my attempt at what seems logical to actually obtain said karma by posting within the allotted time period but then advised I am basically posting to much...smh.
In the mean time some well deserved Karma that I would like to pass on to others goes on pause.

the site will only allow you to upload 1 pic each day, that is where the pic a day comes in. So say if you wanted to post a selfie and another pic of your gear in the gear pic section you wouldn't be able to. You can upload multiple pics in the same post but you can do 2 separate posts with pics on the same day. This pic a day thing isn't to encourage posting a selfie everyday. Post a pic up and everything is good. We know what you look like now, no need to put one up everyday. That is frowned upon, because like you said it is a cheap way of getting karma which is karma whoring.

Perhaps if one is given the opportunity from the start to "give" karma but "work" to get it (by way of being active in the online community) it would prevent "karma whoring" that people are against.
This way a newly active member has the opportunity to give to well deserving posts/pics etc.
All good, bit of moot point all considering.
