Went shopping and wanted to share with you guys what I've been buying and eating. This will usually last a little more than a month and the prep for the freezer takes about an hour so not so bad in all.
10 lbs of fresh cod
10 lbs of salmon
20 lbs of skinless chicken breast
1 fat joint to smoke while I sort through it all
Take care brothers!

1 Fat joint to smoke while I sort it all? And you have the nerve to accuse others of having a drug problem lol
Just a dirty layabout stoner.....
Gotta eat muscle to gain muscle!!!
Looks good! Wish I liked fish more than I do.
Lets hear some of your recipes. Looks delicious
Farm or wild caught?
I got excited when I seen all this fish and was hoping you went on a fishing expedition. I can't wait for winter to end so I can get back out on the lake and cast my line. Awesome catch, even if its store bought... looks delicious
Well done man! Cod is, in my opinion, the best whitefish out there.
I agree there, it is worth every penny.
how much do u pay per kg for the salmon?
I just bought 10kg of salmon 2 weeks ago, but here in netherlands its kinda expensive
I shop at a restaurant supply that sells only to commercial clients, you have to have a registered llc to shop there. My friend owns a restaurant around the block from my apartment and he calls me to ask if I need anything from time to time.
So its cheaper, about 7 dollars a lb for fresh wild caught salmon which is pretty good.
Dominick77Thats my type of grocery shopping brother! No shrimp on the menu? Shrimp/salmon, Shrimp/Chicken, Shrimp/Steak is my preference lol
Word
I've read that shrimp has a lot of cholesterol and since I'm on cycle right now I'm trying to keep it low.
Do you find that it spikes your levels at all? I may give it a try and see how it works if I pair it with a lot of greens or something
I wouldn’t worry about the cholesterol in food there isn’t a direct correlation to food high in chlosterol to a high total chlosterol in the body. All the new research supports this. Foods high in saturated and trans fat should be of more concern.
I should say for most people there are certain populations that should avoid chlosterol in food. Always better to error on the side of caution though.
Unfortunately shrimp is off limits if you have cholesterol issues but many types of fish like talpia are also high. Not as high as shrimp. Basically if it’s a bottom feeder it’s high.
Its my first cycle so I'm being a bit more cautious. I've never had cholesterol issues before but who knows, I get bloods next week so I'll see then what they look like.
It would be great to see a "off topic" photo selection where we could post stuff like this, gym equipment and other cool photos.
I just received 15kg of chicken breast from musclefood.. love that website
Nice idea! Would love to see that
Good idea, I felt weird posting these pics on the gear section but figured its as close to accurate as I'm going to get with it lmao
Now THAT is what builds muscle!! Cod looks delicious!
I'll let you know, I'm trying it tonight
I'm going to switch it up to a different white fish next run though, I've gotten cod alot the past 4 months.
Any suggestions? I was going to get bronzino but I dunno
I do alot of Swai. It's cheap and I like it way better than Talapia
nice, thanks. I'll add it to my list of fish to try
