Great physique for 49 Drock. Nearing 50 it's harder to rid of the fat, so yes watch the excess accumulation. +2

Lean and bulk are two different fucking things. Either you are gonna lean down or you wanna bulk. As in put mass on. How in the hell can grow on leaner diet. But. I'll just stop. Figure out where u wanna go. Up or down. Go up and come back down. Abercrombie says it all

I agree with you on either bulk or cut , as doing both you r spinning your wheels so to speak...
On a typical winter bulk cycle I will add 1000-1300 xtra cals above maint ( more fatty red meats, pork, extra cheat meal , more pasta, whole breads)...now on what I'm referring to as a " lean bulk" ( more fish, x lean red meats, more veggies, etc) , with and increase of 500-800 cals above maint.
Does this approach fit in with coventional thinking?.....maybe not, however this does work for me. At 49 yrs old I've learned to " listen" to what my body is sayin, so adding an xtra 1000 plus cals for 3 months can b a bit taxing on my system, therefore a lower amount of cals of " cleaner" foods durin the summer time is the way to go for me...this is what I'm referring to as a " lean bulk"
