+ 22 Ready to grow
Won’t keep this up for long but its been a while since I posted some progress pics. Lots of injuries over the years as some of you guys know. Feeling pretty good regardless of the nagging shoulder. Spent the year so far just focusing on my diet and training without any PEDs.
Forgive the posing.. I’ve never actually posed before. But I decided I would finally take the plunge and plan on my first show in the spring. Found a solid coach and nutritionist with experience in the field so I’m looking forward to learning a lot more. I’ll be in an NPC show, classic physique category, Class A.
Will be slowly adding in more cals and increasing training intensity over the next 4 months. Using the labs as listed above which have all been great sources over the years. ALL constructive criticism is appreciated. I know I have a lot to work on. My plan is to focus a lot on upper chest, hamstrings, lats, and biceps.

Gotta start at the foundation right? Just started your Qtropin this week man. I’m sure it will do me well. Getting blood work in another 6-8weeks or so
That’s gonna be my next purchase outside of our private friend. I love growth that starts with Q evidently and will be switching back and forth between the two.
Oh and you look great man good luck. maybe do a little more ab work if ur gonna step on stage, but that’s one hell of a foundation. I’m sure ur gonna kill it. +2

Appreciate the kind words, D! You know it’s probably because I don’t know how to contract the abs appropriately during that pose but I have a solid six pack clearly visible at rest. Will work on them regardless.
I’ve posted self pics under him in the past since he’s been private and it’s been cool. I think it’s only gear. But I’ll definitely PM him to be sure.

Appreciate it brother. I’m hovering right around 170. I’ve been as heavy as 192 in the past but never went above that. Got pretty uncomfortable at that weight but diet was not the greatest and I wasn’t committed to competing at that time. Thinking I’ll get up to 185 easy I just want it to be mostly LBM gain ya know
I think you might be to heavy for physique. Might need to move up to bodybuilding unless you plan on burning off muscle, which I obviously wouldn't recommend.
Shit really, even classic physique? I could definitely move up if need be. Just figured I would do better in classic to start.
check the NPC guidelines to be sure but I think you are to heavy for your height.
Just checked it Mak. I can be less than and including 175 for my height. So I figure aiming for a LBM gain of (hopefully and I know I’m stretching it) 10lbs, it would be an easy cut back down to 174 to step on stage. What do you think?
Where is your weight at now? It is always nice to be on the top end of weight for your category. As long as you don't have to cut muscle to make weight I would definitely go for classic, otherwise jump into BB.
I’m 170 right now, eating around 2800 cals/day.
Sounds like classic would be a good fit.
