+ 5 My Thyroid on TUDCA

ad

Posting this to share what TUDCA does for the Thyroid and metabolism. As you can see it's not a huge drop but it's only 900 milligrams and without any Iodine.

Lab forgot to run lipids but I'm sure they also dropped from my last readings.

Those are very interesting numbers. I have been using TUDCA for 6mo and - with time - have really seen some good results improving my metabolism while protecting my liver as it contain milk- thistle. It’s great if you take lots of vitamins and other compounds, on top of your gear. Like everything, it has it’s sides so it’s important to research and read a bit about it.

What does tudca have to do with thyroid stimulating hormone? TUDCA thins the bile and helps the liver as well as the intestines to digest food!

Converts T4 into T3 speeding up metabolism. This would be a natural healthy alternative, to taking exogenous T3 for people trying to cut or burn fat.

The interesting thing there is here in the UK the NHS will not prescribe exogenous T3 as it’s too expensive to manufacture. The only provide Levothyroxine (T4), and only monitor TSH and T4 levels as a result. So this becomes especially if interest over here.

I have been taking TUDCA for several years. And they removed my gallbladder. I know how it works. I also checked my thyroid hormones and everything is normal. Maybe because of the absorption of products, this improves the functioning of the thyroid gland!? The work of the body as a whole affects the functioning of the thyroid gland and perhaps digestion is one of the important points.

I bought it to help with my cholesterol and liver. First thing I noticed was that it helped a lot with digestion but then my hair started shedding like crazy. I was on 1200mg and dropped to 900. Had a routine blood draw scheduled so I asked them to check my thyroid and even tho the reference ranges are higher than my previous blood test, the number was much lower.
Ive been on a keto diet for years now maybe that slowed things down.

If trying to lower LDL check out red yeast rice I have used and had good results lowering LDL, I take Omega 3,6,9 to help raise HDL. Tudca is great at lowering ALT and AST liver enzymes, also use with great results.
