I've been off a short ester cycle for about 7 weeks - curious what you think about this. With these numbers, seems like as soon as I get back on cycle, it will get trashed. Maybe not that bigadeal?

Been off keto, taking fish oil, garlic, lecithin everyday and running every morning.

Clean up your diet a bit and lipids should get to a better place. If not, I would get on some low dose statin. Hem/hemat are borderline. Going to turn blood to sludge if running another cycle now and lipids will really flip. May have to try donating.

I’d agree, get a unit or two of blood out over the next few weeks. Potentially a very slow process letting it come down naturally.

Do you happen to know how long it takes for hema and hemo to come down after very low dose cycle?

My next cycle won't start until fall.

I really don't know how long it takes. You are still borderline yet after 7 wks off. I wonder how high it might of been while on. My values are always at the upper end too, doesn't matter if I am on or off cycle. Doesn't change much for me while on cycle. They always want me to do double reds when I go and donate because my values are always so high. What you need to be cognizant of is what your baseline values are and how much it changes from that point. If you are always high and it doesn't deviate much from that, probably no big deal. My doc isn't worried about mine anyway. Just normal for me just like my elevated creatinine levels. But if it raises significantly while on and takes forever to go down, I would look into correcting that. Donating periodically could, but donating to frequently can also tend to cause a rebound effect.

50mg of TP and NPP 2x a week put me at 53.5% hema and 18% hemo which I guess is not too crazy. How long are you off cycle when you check your baseline levels?

Makwa's picture

Usually a couple of months. I get everything checked right before my next cycle. Thing to keep in mind is if your values are too high they won't accept you for donating, so if you plan to do it, you may want to right before next cycle to ensure levels are low enough for them to accept you.

Fyi the lady that did the draw told me I'm not filling up fast and to drink water before I do bloodwork. I just found out that dehydration could cause elevated hema and hemo so next time I do bloodwork I'll do it afternoon after hydration instead of morning to get a more accurate reading.

yeah stay hydrated

I wouldn't run anything until lipids in check.
Add in Arjuna bark, berberine, beta sitosterol, fish oil and recheck in 8-12 weeks.

Damn bro. I’d hold off a while and get those numbers back in check better. Your H/H is already high, at/past range. And cholesterol…..
More gear will only make those worse right off the bat. What’s your kidney/liver values ?

Lil-Beirut's picture

My next cycle won't start until fall. Need to burn off some fat before I hit this primo. Kidney and liver values are good as could be.

The cycle I was previously on was super low dose.. Rustyhooker would laugh at my dose. And now, I been working hard with supplements, diet and exercise... I am wondering if my H/H is just naturally on the high end? I run like a motherfucker

Mac12769's picture

Good deal. Work on lean diet, healthy fats, fish oil supplements, and cardio. Should gets those values better quickly.
As far as a “naturally” high H/H value, can’t really say without a history of prior labs unaffected by gear on ya bro.

I would never get back on cycle unless bloodwork was in check. Personally, a combo of citrus bergamot and berberine has helped with lipids. Make sure diet is in check and consult your doc if things don’t get better.
