Hell yeah brother. Awesome job. Oldman (no disrespect) showing the kids how it's done! Haha

PoundForPound's picture

Dude thanks.
That T/P 150 hardened up those gains—QUICK!
I'm lucky, everything hardens me up except dbol. I'm always under 10% fat to begin with, but I get super striated and separated on just about anything.
Your shit rox!

Thanks man!

My wife has Crohns, nasty illness. Glad to see you're bouncing back.

PoundForPound's picture

Thanks Cat and best wishes regarding your wife!

SenseiMiagi's picture

Much respect. Takes heart and drive to accomplish in the face of your condition. I salute you.

PoundForPound's picture

It does Bro, but it just seems to me that those qualities were given. What I mean is this: whether one looks at these things thru the lens of science (I'm genetically gifted with the physical and mental traits needed to deadlift 540 @170lbs bodyweight and 53 years old), or spirit ("Grace"), I don't get all the credit because I didn't give those qualities to myself.
What I do have is an intense love of fitness and strength, and the way it makes me feel. That love lights the fire under my ass when it's stuck on the couch!

SenseiMiagi's picture

True, however you took advantage of the qualities given and that takes strength. Not everyone capitalizes on what theyre given.

PoundForPound's picture

Granted.
Thanks

Looking off the charts amazing brother! Thick, solid and powerful physique! Tall traps, nicely striated capped delts, and full bellied arms! I'm very sorry for your misfortune, but like the true champion that you are, you emerged victorious! Well done, very well done indeed! +2 for battling adversity and coming back on top!
Much respect always PforP

It's totally leaving me alone since the beginning of November Bro!
I'm stoked and determined to max out gains just in case it happens again!
ADrol, Test and Tren?
Hmmm...

true grit's picture

Dang, that really is almost pound for pound.

I really feel for you bro. I had no idea how bad this stuff really is.

I almost lost my wife about a yr ago because of Crohns. She was bleeding real bad for days, more than normal. She wanted to go to the doctor, but being a typical guy, I told her she'd be okay and made her go to work. She damn near caved her face in when she passed out on day 3. Took her to the ER. She was bleeding to death internally. Had to get 3 pints of blood. Doc said if we'd have waited any longer she'd have had brain damage and one more day she'd be dead. Felt like a total ass needless to say. Now when she complains we go to the doc. Had to admit her again 2 wks ago but caught it in time.

PoundForPound's picture

Wow bro that's heavy shit!
Now you know the deal; you didn't befiore. So no one can fault you for those times past. I did the same thing to myself before I knew the gravity of the illness

true grit's picture

Yea, that's what makes makes your conditioning even that much more impressive. Hard to maintain or gain weight when you crap your brains out all the time. You look great at any age, but at 53 with crohns, that's super awsome. Are you on humira yet? They put my wife on budesinide. 30 day supply is friggin $1800. Thank God we have pretty good insurance.

zeb0312's picture

Dam hate to hear, looking good and it's dedication for sure to make it through hard times and illness as well. Keep it up brother and wish you alll the best to you and your health. +2

How did you lose the 30 fella?

PoundForPound's picture

Crohn's Disease

cd1's picture

Shit a brick, hope ya well now fella?
A friend of mine had a bad hit from Crohns a few years ago which wasn't nice at all so I can somewhat have an idea of your pain

PoundForPound's picture

Yeah it's brutal.
Sorry for the graphic info, but imagine having bloody blow torch diarrhea 15 to 30 times a day, and you've got a picture of the wasting disease which is Crohn's

Daddydudeit's picture

A very close family member has the same problem. I can only imagine how hard it is for you. Your definitely dedicated and let nothing stand in your way.

PoundForPound's picture

Thanks man,
That really is me: I never quit.
Luck to your relative

cd1's picture

Fuck that , I'm bad enough after a curry.
Congrats for pulling through and adding on some mass
Plus one Sir for that
