Why do my hamstrings cramp up so easily?

ad

I've never been able to work that out very hard without getting horrible cramps. As soon as it starts I have to sit down on ground with legs out front for around 5-15 minutes keeping them stretched.

It sucks not to be able to work them out. Recently I've been getting the same symptoms in other muscle groups.

Is there a drug that I can take that will prevent 100% of muscle cramps? or at the very least reduce the chance of getting them?

I really want to work on my legs but these cramps limit the amount of reps I can do before I'm sitting on the ground.

I put a whole avocado in my morning shake. They have about 3 times as much potassium as bananas. Then again they've got the fat, but I'm on a bulking cycle, so I'm gtg. Just saying. Good luck!

Also as much water and bananas and coconut water I drank and ate, there was no improvement, it was all stretching that cured the cramps

I had the same exact problem, after squats and leg press if I tried to do leg curls, by the second set I instantly cramped I learned to stretch and stretch all thru my leg workout and was able to do long hard workouts with out cramps. My suggestion is between every leg curl set get up and stretch your hamstrings. In the last 4 months I can see with the consistent stretching I'm more flexible and don't cramp. Good luck because cramping sucks and I know how bad they can fuck up ur workout.

Agreed. Love the coconut water.

You can simply go to the store and purchase a potassium supplement for quite cheap. How that?

No problem. It's hard to get tone in posts. I do love coconut water, but it can be spendy.

You need to add things like, "lol, lmao, jk," etc. That should clear that problem up for you. I've found that I actually have to say these thing out loud in person, so as to not sound like a dick. (lmao) I get cramps in my hams ad calves. On many occasions (when this happens, it happens every time I flex said muscle(s) for a day or two) I've tried eating a few bananas throughout the day, w/no improvement. This is much worse and more frequent when I'm on. Even just test, but especially w/dbol. Maybe dehydration. I drink a lot of water tho. How is your water intake?

It can always be difficult to get what people mean from just a sentence or two.
It's water that in coconuts. Coconut milk is when they take the pulp (the white coconut) and press it. The coconut water has potassium, other minerals and electrolytes.

Orange juice before you workout. A glass of orange juice has more potassium than a large banana. Stretching before and after will help and drink more water. Also you can go to Walmart or any pharmacy and get potassium.

Edit: BCAAs while you workout.

Many BCAA products out there have a nice dose of potassium and other electrolytes in them. I won't work out without them. Thanks +1.
