Whats Your Weakest Bodypart
ad
Lately, I have been gauging my workouts by looking in the mirror. I look and I see what bodyparts I need to bring up. Yesterday it was arms and thighs and before that it was squats and back. I really need to put more emphasis on my calves which are really my worst bodypart being that I have longer calves.
Being a bit taller 6'3 238, I have longer calves but if I hit them hard with 5 sets of 20 they do respond somewhat. I do farmers walk calf raises, leg press calf raises, and regular calf raises on say my stairs or anywhere in the gym where I can stand on my tippy toes.
What exercises are you doing for those calves of yours, how often? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Leg press:Knees slightly bent and toes inward (not much) drop the weight where as you can get a solid 25 reps in with a real slow and controlled form with a tight 2 second squeeze up top of each rep.I also do this on the donkey calve raise only difference is I slow the negative down and on the way up I blast up then back down to parallel then up again with a squeeze 25-30 reps 4times a week
I've found my have responded better to bouts of fast skipping and higher rep ranges.
Didn't get any response with heavy weights and low reps
Skipping eh Kila? Yes I guess that I actually skip as well when doing my Farmers Walks. I appreciate the knowledge. +1
I hit calves 3 times a week. Warm up with 5 sets of 20 get the blood flowing then go to sets of 8-12 for hypertrophy. On top of this I will do 100 calf raises in the shower everyday.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. Sounds like a winner, I like the calf raises in the shower. Good idea!!! +1
