PropheticWookieI had a severe covid. The first two weeks it was hard for me to breathe and walk. I started with light cardio for about 1-3 weeks, then gently began to practice in the gym. Since there was a wild weakness and lack of oxygen. I began to exercise normally in the gym about 6-8 weeks after the illness. And cardio and a lot of regular water really helped me a lot. Maybe someone will use my experience
I had Covid for 3/4 days after having the first shot. The main problem I had was I was barely being able to eat for those days so I lost a tonne of muscle and glycogen build up. I found it tougher training after the first covid shot for around 2 weeks than the actual virus itself! Lol Found training extremely tiring and nauseous for those weeks after, its why I'm not looking forward to the second shot Lol.
I just started back to work this week after covid, and I am so tired after work I don't have the drive to start back to working out. The goal is to start Monday. But I would say depends on the person and what your typical day looks like. I have a moderate physical demanding job. On my feet all day, up and down ladders and work stands. Nothing horrible, but don't get to sit on my ass all day. So I just feel drained after 9 hours.
PropheticWookieI had similar feelings. After covid, the feeling that any action causes strong feelings of weakness. The first time I was in a panic that there was no desire to move. But I am slowly getting back to normal. Damn disease
I had the covid and went back in the gym immediately after quarantine. As long as you still stay hydrated and eat good it will be like nothing.
PropheticWookieYou were able to fully train right away and there was no wild weakness?
None. When I got it it was only for 3 days. My nose was stuffed. I had no weakness or fatigue, just couldn't breathe out of my nose. On the fourth day I was starting to get un stuffed so in reality I could have went back then but waited it out to be safe.
Ive had my entire construction crews down with covid at the same time. When they come back after quarantine, it takes a good week of suffering( heat and labor). Usually its fatigue, stamina and lack of breath. They slowly push through this over a couple weeks before they start feeling like themselves. I would tread slowly at first and give your body some time and nutrition. Good luck
Lets just say the following week after getting my first Covid jab I felt like utter shite during training - so after having the real thing I have no idea Lol
XrplolMan this thing hurt like crazy
I have a crazy pain in my quads that comes randomly
