tendon injury

ad

i mentioned in a source review a couple of days ago that i had been dealing with a sore elbow. i took it easy on it for about a week. so i thought i would test out my elbow at the gym and do some military presses... bad idea! i guess it wasn't ready. i heard a pop and it just gave out. i went to the ER and one of the first things the doctor mentioned after my exam, was that this was a common injury for steroid users. he said when the muscle grows faster than the tendons, you can be prone to injury. i don't know why he felt the need to mention that! maybe i look like i'm on the roids! (i know i don't) so i guess its time to focus on my lower body and core. maybe i can work some back and chest in there without doing too much damage! any suggestions?

Tendons don't like to heal! If you end up with a cronic problem and everything else has failed then try Platelet rich blood plasma therapy you can find info at http://www.orthohealing.com/plateletrichplasmatherapy-prp/. It worked for me and was the ONLY thing that fixed me. Good Luck

I was killing the biceps on Saturday morning. Well woke up yesterday and could hardly straighten my right arm out. Now in all my years I have been sore but this is different. Woke up to day and cannot straighten it. Well I can it just hurts like a bitch and the arm starts to shake. Just started 500mgs of Test Cyp 250on Wednesdays and Sundays. The pain is in the inside of my right elbow. Any thoughts?

Bro, stress to the ulna nerve is common. I had an old timer at the gym (really old, like 70 and tight as a mutha!) tell me that light reverse curls (bar only) reverse the effects of ulna nerve damage... I haven't looked back since

Yo Hollywood, great tip! And it worked wonders. I still can't believe it worked so well. Thanks Brother

99.999% of all md's are antisteroids. ironically you will heal it up faster by keeping the affected area active and blood flowing to the joint, ice it, wrap it, and take some chondroitin s. glucosamine but dont' expect to feel a single thing for up to 3 weeks, also i would do 5-8 sets of light side laterals in every workout for the next month or so. and btw the doc is wrong - these injuries happen when the muscles are able to handle heavier weight faster then the tendons, not a matter of growth
