Strained Rotator Cuff

Ive been having trouble burning my chest lately so Monday I took it down a notch and went for breathing and form. LESS weight but slow and deliberate all the way down to the chest(wait for it) then slow and deliberate back up. WORKED GREAT! caught a nice burn BUT now I have a slight strain in the cuff. I took yesterday OFF (shoulder day) but I did go today to do arms... was able to go about 60%... The juice is telling me to finish off the rest of the week at 50% (better than nothing) and my head is telling me just rest and see how you're feeling monday... its not torn or anything (been there, done that) and losing two days isn't the end of the world... I just don't want to ((LOL))

DEF made the right choice... taken a few days off and the cuff is feeling about 80%... will start again monday with a 1:1 workout schedule. 3 days off will be sweet on the recovery as well as my mental state (can't wait to start tearing it up again!)

I took a few days off from doing any upper body work outs and was focusing on my legs, Thursday night i pulled a muscle in my back squatting lol, i can't get a break

Ok... went in today and tried some light cable flies... barely at 50% so I'm taking some down time til next wk. will probably switch my lift days from 5:2 to 1:1 to see how that treats me... it is NEVER a bad idea to switch things up : )

google or youtube rotator cuff exercises, then make sure you do them before every upper body workout. you will look like a fag doing these exercises, but they work wonders. I used to avoid certian exercises because the movement hurt, but not anymore.

Im right there with you, last week i was doing overhead dumbell presses and pulled a muscle in both my arms but like you said the juice wants me to keeps lifting and in my head i know not to. I have takin this time to work on my legs and everything else. Now legs are my favorite, lastnight i was squating 500 3 sets of 6 and everybody was like Damn lol.
