This may sound crazy, but stretch your pecs. Use a wall and get a good 20-30 second stretch on each side.
Ive had shoulder pain from lifting for years, and just found this out.
It happens when your pecs are tighter than your back muscles and they pull forward constantly.
This really helps. It'll help with the flexibility and range of motion in your shoulders. It helped me a lot on the bench press and for my olympic lifts:

A lot of their other videos are not quite good though, but that one is golden.
same here, shoulder pain, when doing bench press or military press. just warm up. EX: if u do bench press, just do 1 set or 2, with light weight. First, 1x15, 2x15. or like any other exercises. also, this happen with my arm ass well... ALWAYS WARM UP.
Tiger, you gotta get back to us on 1) what the pain feels like, i.e., "dull ache" "sharp piercing pain" ...? 2) What exercises seem to aggravate the injury, i.e., "Bench" "Dips" "Military".
Incidentally, those are three things you should not be doing if you have shoulder pain. What helped me overcome shoulder injuries were the following: 1) Ice. 2) High rep low weight. 3) Band work. 4) Deca.
Good luck homie, get back to us.
Well, most of handicaps reflect in upper arm region or directly at the arcomion. Things that might help: strain on shoulder down eg deep dips, shoulder press behind neck etc. do some out rotation by having the upper arm fixed on the body and on a cable pull make rotation of under arm to the outside. hope that is to understand
cheers iron
You have probably over strained your rotary cuff, do not waste of time a doctor they will say: RICE. I got rotary cuff, best way i found was to get a tenis ball and apply pressure if it was the back of it for myofacial release, and just worked lower body. others may have better suggestions thou.
All of us have shoulder pain! The cause is simple, but nobody wants to admit it. We're all super horny from all the testosterone, so we need to masturbate a lot more than normal causing repeatative stress, inflamed tendons, and some of us even tear our rotator cups. Try switching hands for a few weeks.
shoulder "pain" is extremely common for weight trainers. It could be a million different things depending on your history, when the pain occurs, duration and level of pain etc. I found that doing basic shoulder workouts focusing on the problem area helps me. I have left shoulder pain that is part tendon pain and part rotator. I was able to focus on building the muscle in that area and stretching that shoulder is key. Lifting heavy especially bench press and db press no longer aggravate it but if your pain is consistent and affecting your workouts I would get it checked by a PT asap. Good luck
Is it a constant shoulder pain or does it get worse during or after training? Are there certain exercises that seem to affect your shoulder more than others? Does it feel like its originating at the shoulder joint or in one of your shoulder muscle groups (posterior, medial, anterior deltoids)? Perform slow, full rotations of your arms (windmill action) .... do you hear or feel a clicking within your shoulder? Are you finding your range of motion restricted? Is it restricted for hours after exercise?
I ask because "experiencing shoulder pain" is a very general symptom for a host possibilities. Answer as many questions and I'll do my best to give you the best advice I can.
Just remember that no joint pain, particularly the shoulder, should be be "trained through" until you've consulted a board certified medical practitioner.
I get it as well, its more of a rear delt pain, is that where yours is? Going to go to the chiropractor and see what he says this coming week.
