Question about my current workout routine
ad
So my workout routine goes like this:
Sunday: Chest/tri
Monday: Cardio (I work 12 hours straight running around on my feet all day)
Tues: Bi's/back
Wed: Shoulder/traps
Thurs: Legs
Fri/Sat: ??
My question is, should I be using these as rest days? I typically work out 1 1/2 - 2 hours each time I work out. I really don't want to just sit on my ass for friday and saturday, but I am trying to gain weight so I don't really want to do extra cardio because my job is usually 5-6 shifts a week of running around for 5-6 hours.

Mate you need to dramaticaly shorten your workout. You can either train hard or long, you can't do both. You need too be out of the weight training area in under an hour. You are doing a push/push and pull/pull system. It's ok but not ideal. You could very well be over stimulating your bi's and tri's bro. A common misconception is that those smaller uscle groups need the same amound of work as the larger ones. This is not the case. Your arms are under tension while you train every other body part. It is very easy to not gain or get little gains from a work out schedule like that. I would change to chest and bi's back on its own and shoulders and tri's. It is a personal thing as well. God luck bro. If you want more help PM me and I can outline more stuff for you
Where is your Core/Abs? Your core stabilizes all exercises. I would shift the days around also Tues/Sat rest, and spread the Bi's/back and shoulders/Traps out another day or so they are auxiliaries to each other, give them rest before you work them again.
I'm on 500mg sustanon sun/wed, and 30 MG Danabol DS ED. Not sure on calories, but I am eating a ton. Been working out on/off for like 5 years, but didn't work out for about 6 months before 3 months ago, than started again. Been on the sus/dbol for 2 weeks and 2 days now. Also im 25
56tooThere's a lot of factors left out here. How long you've been working out, how many sets and reps you're doing per body part, how many calories you're taking in. Gear? I would probably leave Wed. free to get more rest especially after a brutal back w/o, but I'm old LOL. I like that w/o though. Good luck
